How did you get your servers online? I manage my domain through Cloudflare, and I tried setting up a tunnel to access my instance. The server is online, and I can access the admin panel via an IP address, but I get an error when I type in the domain via my browser (Firefox). Cloudflare users, I could really use your help!

As always, every time I look at the AWS Glacier egress fee calculator I get fairly irked at how much they charge. Was wondering if anyone knew of any alternatives for cold storage in the cloud without such egregious charges. I will likely not access it ever because I have another offset backup, but just in case I do, I wouldn't want to fork over thousands, really.

I don't know how reliable Scaleway's service is, and Cloudflare's R2 doesn't have a Archive offering. I would be interested in the Azure if anyone can convince me that I won't go bankrupt trying to retrieve my data from them. I don't want to go with Google with the recent stuff they have been doing with data on their servers.

So it was my first job was a server at a very popular 24 hour breakfast diner/chain. We had lots of colorful customers.

I have recently stumbled upon a website that seriously advocate for female-oriented gay fiction such as yaoi (gay manga) or danmei novels (Chinese M-M literature), as well as their fandoms. I work at a store that sells kitchen appliances and other kitchen related stuff, normally when we’re supposed to leave or go on break we’re supposed to tell our manager, I was helping a long line at cash register and had already been there for 8 hours and assumed they had someone to cover me, I wasn’t allowed to use the walkies to ask to be covered to go home, so I quickly found my manager and told her my shift was done.

She got really prissy at me and said, “Could you really not stay a few more minutes?” I tried to tell her, “I thought you had someone to cover me I can stay if you want.” She then replied, “No no just go, but next time you need to wait for a manager to let you go home.”
