A 14-year-old American-Palestinian boy was gunned down in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. His father says "it was a field execution."

There were shadowy conspiracists lurking in the dark alleys of Washington, and hiding from the glaring sun in the High Desert of California, but they were laughably easy prey when the Martian lizard people, the subterranean Vril-empowered mole-men, and the globalist pedophile Commies did show up.
One of the lovely things about Ubuntu is that when something breaks during an upgrade in the first month after release, you already expected and prepared for this.
Cause it happened with every release upgrade in the past 15 years.
There should be a general speed limit of 20mph/30kmh on city streets.
Also no parking on public space for any vehicle that isn't for deliveries, emergencies, trades, or people with disabilities.
If you want to park your car at home, or want your customers or employees to park near your business, you need to buy or rent space for parking privately.
Any citizen documenting a parking infraction with photo evidence should have the option of giving police their bank details and will then receive part of the paid fine.
Of course there will be valid exceptions, like a private emergency, moving, a woman in labor, and such.
Just imagine what our cities could be like if there weren't long rows of cars parked along every street.
The freed space could be turned into bicycle lanes, wider sidewalks, outdoor seating for cafes, green lanes, urban gardens and so much more.
Car lanes could be separated from bike paths and sidewalks by hedges in most places.
Children could play and move safely in public.
Ironing clothes became a thing when all clothes were made from 100% natural materials.
Today, unless you specifically go out of your way to make sure, chances are that none of your clothes are made from 100% natural materials.
One of the advantages of plastic fibers is that they don't wrinkle as much.
1 is acceptable when you're a medieval peasant.
2-4 is never OK.
5+ is fine, but it turns the house into a barn.
Sorry, we're not really in the mood to listen to what Republicans have to say right now.
Be mindful of pickpockets especially in Paris!
When you travel through France by train, you often have to get off at one train station in Paris, and take the Metro to another train station to continue.
This funnels a constant fresh supply of disoriented tourists onto specific Metro routes.
When you're in one of those Metros, there will be groups of professional pickpockets on board.
And if they can't pickpocket you, they aren't above shoving, crowding and yelling at you to take your focus off your wallet.
I'm not going to drink alcohol this weekend.
I tried to get into The Simple Method before and I disagreed on too many points for it to work. Also stopped smoking but not with The Easy Way. His basic premise that cigarettes and alcohol actually do nothing for you at all simply didn't click with me.
What I did take from his books was the mindset that I'm not forced to avoid the drug, I'm finally free to live without it.
Partly because they weren't aware of the camera, I'm guessing.
I'm really lucky to live in a place where I can just walk or cycle into the woods and hills directly from my house.
That always lets the stress fall off.
And now I'll finally have the time to do that regularly.
Oh yeah, I got creative with the rules.
"Only on weekends" meant I drank the same amount, just concentrated on Fr-Su.
"Not at home" lead to a 2-beer pit stop on my way home from work, then "going for a walk" after supper.
"Not alone" meant getting a bottle of wine for my wife too, and convincing her to drink with me.
And "not more than 2 beers" made me get the strongest beer available, then switch to whisky.
DDOS the government
The money isn't the issue, but I realized what a waste of time it was. Last week when it got really bad, I'd get home from work, do my chores, eat and then start drinking from 7pm till 1am every night. That's almost a second full time job.
I quit today
Not sure what to say but it feels like a switch clicked in my head today and my eyes were opened.
Yesterday I bought 2 sixpacks to last me over the holidays and today I saw that they're empty. And the expensive whisky for special occasions too.
I didn't even have a reason to drink that much. I've officially lost control.
So no more "only on weekends". Or "not at home" Or "not alone". Or "not more than 2 beers". Tried all that, didn't work.
I am not going to drink today. I don't need to drink today. What a liberating feeling!
I live in this. I pay 500€ rent, in one of Europe's most densely populated areas. I commute to work by bicycle, and I can take walks into the forest with my cats till we get too close to the Alpaka Farm, cause they're afraid of the alpakas.
Unfortunately, we're getting thrown out this year, and looking at 3x the rent for something worse which is further away.
That's a good way to get shot by a cop, or sent to El Salvador

I kinda feel like…I’m mourning for the USA?
I’m German. The USA made it possible for me to grow up in a functional democracy.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans died so I could have that privilege.
They died fighting for my unborn ass's rights, against my grandparents' fellows.
Fortunately, my grandparents weren’t involved in killing them, but that was pure chance.
Growing up, the USA was the shining beacon in the west.
The country that was so much better, freer and cooler than mine.
I learnt English listening to American Forces Network, the radio station of the US armed forces in Germany, every night.
Literally my main goal in life was to be able to one day move to the USA and become a citizen.
I lived in the USA for one year pre-9/11 and could hardly wait to finish my studies and maybe one day acquire a Green Card.
But after 2001 (damn, that’s already 24 years ago), it started to turn.
I celebrated when the German chancellor refused to support the USA in the illegal invasion of Iraq.
Then I stayed up ever
