Lol, come up with an abbreviation then 😅

So? Let them be upset then. If you've made a good case for yourself that it got them upset, others will understand why you had to disengage. Just use the "disengage" rule if you don't want then just having the last word.

You can always tell them that you don't like how they're interacting with you and disengage. People will get upset at your opinions of veganism, but being upset isn't "abuse".
One could do the same pattern of behaviour with anti-Trans essentialist arguments and "just asking questions", and then report Trans allies who get upset at it. most trans/ally mods would ban someone doing this tactic for it, but liberal mods might end up banning the other party for "incivility".

It's a big of a weird case innit? I think that incivility should be allowed, but I also see that a pattern of behaviour where someone goads people to get upset in order to report them for incivility is manipulative and against anarchist ethos. You got to be able to take what you're dishing out. When I answered your email I didn't anticipate that you would be crying to the mods when you got people heated, yanno?
I don't think any of us admins would mind you having strong opinions on some matters and holding your ground, even if it would upset others, but this constant pattern of trying to manipulate situations to get people sanction by hierarchical power (mods) I feel is approaching /crossing an ethical line.
I believe this pattern behaviour is what the mod is objecting to, not your light trolling and strong opinions.

If anyone does this, please make it a non-voting thread first as things are a biy vague still I believe.

Cheers, looks like I have a lot to add on fediseer

Lol get some perspective mate.

I'd love that people add this functionality to lemmy directly so I don't have to maintain it externally.

I don't agree. This is information between admins to keep track of potentially problem users. This is no different than talking to other admins in a private chat. Just easier to organize.

The bot? It's FOSS.

If it quacks like a duck, and it walks like a duck...

I'm cool with it.

Hey everyone came here after reddit started censoring everyone and anything.
Were you in /r/anarchism. Do you get any censorship in there lately?

Can't get banned
Well, technically if you're a chud, you can get widely defederated.

There's no mod action for flags, so no.

Lol what a PTB.

The venn diagram between right-libertarians, cryprobros and alt-right fascists is practically a circle

Threativore now supports flagging users
The newest release of Threativore allows admins to flag users with warning flags, which don't lead to any immediate consequences, but they allow admins to keep track of potentially problematic users and also a way to send a warning to those users that doesn't come from any specific admin account.
This was triggered by having a few problem users in our instance which had bad takes low-key enough to not cop an immediate ban but kept popping up in reports and moderation. In isolation any of those things might make an admin give the benefit of a doubt, but when seen holistically, it makes things more obvious.
Currently it only supports a warning
flag, but I can easily add more if people have ideas. These flags can accumulate between admins and you can always see what others have added.
I'm hoping people can use this functionality more liberally than bans, as it will provide a warning to users for bad behaviour, and once someone gets more than 2 or 3 it would be a good chance to take m

Electoralism doesn't stop fascism whatsoever.

100+ years of electoralism and you ended up in fascism anyway. Talk about bad outcomes.

Some things are just meant for each other. Like Igorr and GenAI art.

I've started improving some of the art of the video game I've been working on

I wanted to replace the old Midjourney v1 art I had (which was the whole reason I got into GenAI) with some Flux generations, but I thought to myself, why not use Wan2.1 to also make the cards animated. And so I did!
My workflow is to first generate a flux image, then I switch to a wan2.1 workflow and import that image as the source, and use a Live Wallpaper Style LoRa to add a simple idle animation.
I then import it into Hypnagonia and if an animation exists, then the card art will loop that animation. I will also allow a switch to disable it, or prevent looping as well.
The best part about making a surrealist/dreamlike game is that the GenAI imperfections in art and animation are totally in-theme for the world.
PS: Anyone have a good method to create perfect loops in Wan2.1?
