this sounds a lot like me. AFAB, dysphoric about chest, wants to trans in a masculine direction and fall somewhere in femboy/twink, trying to be "both + neither", etc. etc. i personally call myself "transandrogynous" and an alternate label i know is "transneutral".
i just got into trying to customize niri but man, i don't think i have the configuration file autism at all. i just threw on noctalia shell and called it a day.
i am trying to beat my head against the wall of configuring a waybar on my other machine tho. the CSS isn't CSS-ing so now all the components on the right side are smushed together.
surface linux is such a good fucking project, i bought a surface (eta) go go1 for 80 bucks after xmas 2024. it's such a cute little machine and arch linux just fliiiies on it.
tons of KDE software is on the windows store, from KDE themselves, even (i can't link the platform filter directly, just change the "all platforms" dropdown to "windows")
ETA: *added this because i realized what comm i was on. what i'm talking about isn't considered a tablet in the sense of one that runs a mobile operating system. oops.
definitely the latter, but not in bed 'cause i'm also one of those "my body must be a specific temperature to be comfortable and my feet being bare helps dictate this" neurodivergents.
the sliders are just the overall volume for the individual noise tracks. best way to see this in action is going through all the presets on the left. i'll reinstall the app real quick to remind myself how that works there.
ETA: oh it's literally a button labeled "presets". you can also bring up the slider labels with a long hold on the circle, or mouse-over on desktop.
mynoise is my favourite noise generator site. every sound across hundreds of different generators is organically sourced by the owner, which sounds hyperbolic but it's not.
fyi: !money@slprnk.net should be !money@slrpnk.net, the only such "solaprunk" typo this month
