  • I'm definitely getting more comfortable with presenting somewhat femme in public, yeah. I'm often wearing nail polish, I recently got my ears pierced, and I've been known to wear makeup once out when there's a reason to. I've worn kinda femme clothing before, mostly to pride events (short shorts, floral romper, crop tops, etc). Haven't worn a skirt/dress out, not sure if I'll get there soon but who knows! I do wear a small amount of jewelry sometimes, but I need more of it for sure. Also, I mean, context is everything. Am I gonna be a bit femme at a cool show or concert? Sure. Am I gonna wear it when going to the hardware store in a rural area? Nope.

    Not sure where the line really is for me. Or really, where the HARD line is for me. Because like, skirt in public, not absurd. I'm not going to do it right now, but it's not off the table.

    Challenges, I mean, internalized homophobia/transphobia/etc being the big one lol. A few things that helped me: having a remote job, cuz previously I would definitely encounter some right-wing jerks in my office. Having a very supportive partner. Coming out as pan to people. Making the decision to be more outwardly queer. Moving to a new city, too.

  • So part of my smoothness does come from the fact that my body hair is all REALLY light in color 😅 so as long as it's below a certain length, you can't really see it unless you're closer. Which I'm thrilled about!! But yeah, totally with you on the plug comfort - the ones with round bases may look hot, but after wearing for a bit they do get annoying 😭 also thank you for the compliment!!!
