This was the first stable community on which I was able to make an account on, after many failed attempts at other instances. I had a lemmy.cafe account before, but I was not getting recent posts. Another reason is that I am mostly ok with this community's moderation policies.
When I was yet to choose an instance, I saw a lot of fearmongering in the fediverse about ml, hexbear and lemmygrad being very toxic communities. I put off for long till I got convinced that ml was actually a decent community. There will be some toxic users in any community, offline or online. But certain bullshit is not tolerated on ml, like ableist language, apathy to people outside the US, hate speech etc. So, here I am.
I am sorry if I worded this post badly, but my question is why is this phrase 'go to reddit' is used? You can simply tell them that their problematic views are not welcome here. Downvote. Report the comment. Why use 'Go to reddit' as a slur?
I didn't mean to say that conservative views are just different views. I phrased my initial post badly, sorry. I mean to say that this retort is used also for differing views. A few days back, I was asked to go back to reddit because I questioned the US-limited view of politics. I don't think my view was conservative. I was just thinking in what situations this retort is used.
Every coconut is different, and their taste varies largely. I've gotten that horrendous taste sometimes, but it has also been just salty water. Mostly I get a sort of sweet tasting water.
When I ate orange(fruit) after many months of eating orage flavoured stuff, I tasted the orange flavour mixed along with a bunch of flavours in the fruit. It was very faint though.
I was playing a lot of games from Kongregate and armorgames regularly till 2018 or sometime when end of Flash support was announced. I got the swf files for most of the games I played through flashpoint and flash museum. I am still searching for a game called Book of treasures though.
Maybe it is because men are bigger?
