XVAPE has released the Fyra, a new tri-use vape, concentrate, dry herb(convection), and oil cart, https://player.vimeo.com/video/799677038?h=cfee69a92a I have only had the unit a few days for testing but so far so good, I have been using herb directly in the oven or in the supplied...
For forums: Yeah spaces are pretty great (have a look at Mozilla for example) and it can be an alternative IME.
For gaming which even if unasked about, is the majority of the users: When we can have push to talk option (client side, which can be done relatively easy) and proper 30+ FPS Screen share for gaming features, I think it'll be much easier to convince people to try it. Everything else IMO is QOL features that I don't mind about. We also tried to use mumble, but the lack of Screen share moved us straight back to discord eventually...
That's basically what happened before money was invented. Imagine being a shoe maker and wanting to get some food, can you convince the sellers to take new shoes for the food/groceries EVERY DAY?
Use tab stash, you'll hate yourself forever.
Because magic™ is cool
Make sense, tnx
What about Flutter? It was pretty nice to work with
Yeah that's true, I don't use this method for all sites, but only these that are usable without adblocker (mostly alternative frontends). Instead, I'm opening it with mull within a work profile that has an always-on VPN.
Just note that Firefox for android tabs are not isolated from each other, but they're sharing the same process, thus technically can access all of the other objects in Firefox′s memory. You should consider using mulch for these web-native apps style usage.
Can't wait for fission to come to mobile to solve all this mess...
Alright I'll check it out. Tnx:)
If we're on this subject, do you happen to know any active esp Lemmy communities?
thanks and merry christmas
Hi, better late than never, right?
I wanted to be able to inspect the URL paths and parameters, before actually engaging with the website itself, and be able to interact with these fields in a convenient way, just like with URLCheck on android. Also, if possible, to check the URL, to see if it redirects anywhere.
On PC, while it's not what I wanted to achieve, I settled on using Redirect Link extension, so at least after I spot a link that I want to redirect, I can clean it as I want and redirect it automatically. For example: these annoying AliExpress GCP links to normal item page with these regexps:
https://www.aliexpress.com/gcp/.+/?.*=&%3FproductIds=%5Cd+.*
-> https://www.aliexpress.com/item/%q[productIds].html
Or specifically Text-Grab
And OBS
Good human ;)
It'd be really helpful if these kind of posts would have such description at the title.
Yeah I like it. I don't use the paid version for now so rethinkdns gives me all the features I use at PC (and more that portmaster lacks)
Yeah first point is true for mobile, not for desktop tho. You can add Mulch tho, it's chromium based. Thanks for 2nd point, didn't know about it.
Nice list. I'd at least add Librewolf, Mull, portmaster, RethinkDNS, protonVPN and Bitmask\riseupvpn to the list. They're must have imo.
It depends on their implementation. If they decided to somehow serve the ad itself and serve the video only after the ad is done, I think that you won't be able to skip it, maybe only censor it to see a blank video screen or something.
It's the fear talking

URLCheck like program for PC (windows =\ )?
I got so used to using it, filtering params manually and route editing when needed, that I find myself do it manually in a notepad on my PC lol. Does anyone know and OSS software that does that? From my searches I found only one app that claims to do that, but isn't OSS so I put it on hold. Worse case I'll block its access to the internet though.

(rec) riseup vpn is a free VPN that supports P2P
Riseup vpn is a free, donations based VPN, that doesn't require an account and has no logs policey. They doesn't have lots of serves like Protonvpn for example but they're running for years and support P2P, so if someone is too short for paying for a VPN, I think its a pretty good for some use cases.

XVape Fyra, anyone has experience with it? What do you think about it?
Looks like topgreen did it again, looks really cool and versatile, and for $80! people will run it as their out and about device easily, although the glass stem can be a double edge sword. The heater is detachable so it's a pro and a con, imagine stoners switch between mods and lose the heater lol

Cool and tasty vapor why portable inside the house... what else can I ask?

Why do I still see (not imported) posts as NSFW?
Let's break that reddit habit, we all know what we do around here lol

(Req) alarming when arriving to a preselected location?
Or even better, when you're get inside a diameter of x meters around it.
Are any of them a thing?

My 510 DHV, love this thing.
A review I wrote at reddit:
I own it for like a year and I just realised I didn't make an actual review post, but only comments, so here we go
- I find it a stealthy and versitile vape, that gives great flavour (I don't taste the wood at all, and I can't remember if I tasted it when it was newer).
- It supports dosing capsules (jackpods), but I hardly use them anymore, because IMO stem packing is much more convenient, and I'm not really want the extra conduction the capsule adds.
- The ABV is perfectly even with or without the capsules.
- The maintenance is minimal, just keep the screen, the deck clean, and maybe the coils too but idk how much it matters haha.
- you can change coils, but tbh, idk if you will ever NEED to change them. Just because you have the option doesn't mean you have to. Most other vapes don't ever change their heater too. So, because of that, I find the glow quite

Where are we standing regarding to the known vulnerability?
<title>
It seems it originates via custom emojis.. Does we even have any? I saw some saying that removing them helps for now.

All this post talks about is on going to an instance on your android favorite browser (mines Mull), click on 3 dots (options) and install/add to home screen, so the instance will show in webview/webapp version
For some reason, when trying to use webview version of sopuli, the wv crashes instantly, but, at lemmy.world or lemmy.ml for example it works flawlessly. Any idea why can it be?

YSK: you should use this lemmy link switcher script (via violentMonkey)

Ensures that all URLs to Lemmy instances always point to your main/home instance.

This script transforms links from other instances to your home instance. So useful :)
As @[email protected] explained:
It makes it so that if you visit another instance using their URL, it will redirect you to your home version’s federated link.
E.g. if your home server is Lemmy.world, let’s say you find a link to Lemmy on another website but it’s a link to Lemmy.ml. If you click the link, you won’t be signed in.
So like: https://lemmy.ml/c/memes would redirect to https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]
This way you can seamlessly use Lemmy.
It does the same for posts.
Edit: since it works from any site, I highly recommend you to add it to your Android browser so it will work with webapp clients here's how:
You can use violentMonkey on ff browser too, but you need to unlock Dev options, then do this

Who are your favorite content creators?
For me, I don't browse a lot on YouTube and such, but I found StarTalk and NotJustBike channels great.
