Red Fox Taxidermy

I am semi-new to taxidermy. I started on a red fox for myself, only to realize the head form was too big for my pelt. Unfortunately I even ripped the face trying to fit it inside! Thankfully I have another pelt that looks like it has a larger head. I had to start over on clay work because it was ruined when I tried the first one. I don’t think it looks bad at all so far! Hopefully this one works out.
Jumping Spider Memorial

Sometimes I make jumping spider memorials on wax flowers. I love how they turn out!

Buddy

My second pet painting I did. It is much better than the first!
Haha she has character for sure!

Pitties

These two goofballs were a great experience for me to do! They were my first short-haired pets to paint.
Jumping Spider

I did a close up painting of a jumping spider. Someone asked afterwards if it was supposed to resemble a controller. It isn’t, but I totally see it too and I love it!
My Second Pet Painting

This cutie was such an improvement from my first. Buddy is the mascot of a local store.
My First Pet Portrait

I started painting pets and this is the first I made. It is of my poodle.
Hamster memorial

This little guy was our family’s winter white hamster named Simba. He was such a sweet boy and lived a good long life. When he passed of old age, I couldn’t throw him away. I buried him under sunflowers and later made this for my boyfriend.
That wouldn’t help me get better at all, haha! I’ve made many more paintings since this one and I love doing every one of them.
