Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

  • George Orwell

  • New account making a suspicious post is not a definite proof that they're a troll but I can win money all day betting that they are.

  • This is a technology community.

  • Just because you can come up with a plausible explanation for it doesn't mean it's the correct one. There are hundreds of similar theories that have already been suggested in the past - including this one.

  • Right, so Advertisement General Intelligence. The name however still suggests it's generally intelligent (GI) and since it's not of biological origin that makes it artificial (A) too in which case Advertisement General Intelligence is by definition an Artificial General Intelligence too.

  • The most common mistake people make with this is forgetting to waterproof the edges of the hole in the counter. Then if there's no proper seal between the sink and the countertop, water eventually seeps underneath and bloats the whole thing.

  • You don't need a level surface for it. Say your level is off by 5 degrees. On a 5 degree incline it'll either show 0 degrees or 10 degrees depending on which way you have it. Just adjust it untill you get the same reading both ways. This is easier to do on a digital level but the same principle applies on a bubble level as well - you just need to eyeball it.

  • As someone who installs these for a living, I wouldn't exactly say it's a job just about anyone could do. Very few sink installs I've done are true plug-and-play. There's almost always some customization needed or reach/compatibility issues with the plumbing. Plus, there are certain things you need to watch out for if you want to avoid water damage down the line.

  • No it doesn't.

  • I thought it was clear as day that this is a fake post. I can't believe the amount of serious answers here.

  • It is a toupee fallacy to claim that bait/fake posts are always so easy to spot, but this is definitely a toupee here.

Edit: Damn, people are seriously responding to this. I thought it couldn't be more obvious.

  • I wouldn't say it's a positive outcome but if you're going to break up then better sooner than later.

  • I've heard someone say that war is actually mostly really boring with minutes of intense action sprinkled here and there.

  • Not everyone's gonna start killing everyone. People will still go to work, money will still be a thing. Barricading your home will be pointless - this isn't a zombie apocalypse we're talking about.

It'll look more like terrorism than actual war. Assassinations, bombings, and mass shootings driven by politics will get way more common, but for most people, life will more or less stay the same.

  • First time I'm hearing about this

  • I said eFat, not a downhill bike. If the weld fails I'll just need to push it back home like I did the last time.

  • I'm on the same boat, though I have a lot more requirements on what I want that electric truck to NOT include. I want a proper work truck that's user serviceable - not a computer on wheels. Untill that, I'll stick with my -07 diesel Navara.

  • Only if you use an excavator. You're probably not going to break it with a shovel.

  • I have eFatbike with cracked frame that I'm about to try fixing by welding. People say it wont work but I don't exactly have anything to lose here either so I'll give it a try at some point.
