Defender Jan Paul van Hecke discusses effect of coach’s dramatic deed after defeat by Nottingham Forest and Brighton’s mindset for Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final tie against same opponents

One of the safe solutions really pissed me off. Which ones do you have? I have six, no clue where the last one is supposed to be.
Are you looking to fully drain the reservoir? That's the only thing you need boiler power connected for I think, provided you have the Tomb open.
The sanctum thing is so frustrating too, still haven't solved my first sigil though I know what to look for now I guess. Still haven't made it back to room 46 a second time either, RNG has been hitting badly. Maybe that will help.
The hidden depths and secrets are just completely insane. I'm loving piecing together the narrative, but every time I think I have seen (though not completed!) all the puzzles a new hidden layer opens up with new objectives and challenges.
Amazing game!
Good lord there is so much still to do haha! Every time I think I've seen most of the puzzles a new secret bottom opens up to an entirely new layer. I'm loving putting together the narrative but my god some of the puzzles didn't work for me (I had to look up a couple of hints - would never have organically gotten them). How have you been progressing with the safes?
Same here. Do you think this data is from Email Apps/Clients rather than the addresses? iPhones are extremely popular and so I can imagine loads of people open their mail on their phones. But I have a hard time seeing more users being on Apple mail adresses compared to the huge widespread gmail.com users.
The most fascinating thing about the Tangut script is that it was created by a single individual. One man sat down and thought "this is gonna be great!". What an absolute madman.
It's a cool feature, though as long as it's Piefed-to-Piefed only it's kind of of limited use. It also doesn't transfer over subscriptions right? That's still the biggest problem with community migration in my opinion.
Yes, obviously. What, are they going to waste valuable time and effort and wind tunnel hours and Newey work-hours on improving from 15th place finishes to hoping for the occasional point come the end of the season?
Literally everybody knows he is only there to work on the upcoming regulations, this was never a story.
Bioshock meets Cuphead looks a lot better than the last trailer did. Keeping an eye on this one for sure.
Just rolled credits. Really strange actually haha. There are so many unsolved mysteries! I feel like I'm close to piecing together the narrative but I'm still missing crucial pieces.
I'm sure the remake will release with the same level of QA and polish that the original Oblivion shipped with. That renowned Bethesda standard of quality.
Ah makes sense. Strange shuffle they did between F1TV and YouTube then. I miss stuff like the best radio messages, post race radio and Top 10 Onboards on YouTube now.
Anyway thank you so much for your responses, they've been perfect hints without being too spoily, which is a hard thing to pull off! I might bug you again at some point, we'll see what I accomplish today.
Actually, maybe we need a Blue Prince community...
I never said it was a great game. In fact I literally said:
Genshin has a lot of other problems even gacha aside
I just said it wasn't garbage. There is plenty of other actual garbage out there. It looks and plays like a mobile game because it is a mobile game. It's a mobile game you can play on your PC if you want. But it's still a 5-year-old mobile game. Expecting it to look like AC Shadows or something is silly. Besides, the BOTW-ripoff-meets-anime art direction really seems to appeal to a lot of people, and art direction is much more important than graphical fidelity anyway.
The soundtrack and score is genuinely very good and varied, with each area having its own feel and sound to the music. The game is huge and has lots of different areas to explore, each with its own characteristics. The world has lots of little details and puzzles, some that are extremely simple dopamine hits and some puzzles that are somewhat challenging. There is like a hundred hours or whatever of story content to go through that at least quite a lot of people seem invested and engaged in. There are new events every month or so with various things to do.
Let be clear: I don't like Genshin personally. I don't play Genshin. I think there are a lot of problematic elements in it not just with monetisation but with grind, RNG, retention/addiction mechanics, unskippable cutscenes and probably more I'm forgetting off hand.
It's still blatantly unfair to call it "garbage".
Is this a new thing they're doing for F2? I don't think I've seen this before.
I'm still neck-deep in solving the mysteries of Blue Prince. Hopefully it's permissible to talk about here as it's hardly the most patient of gaming I've done (I bought it on release day). It did have a release week 10% sale though so technically I didn't pay full price?
The game is absolutely great and it's extremely hard to talk about without spoilers, which would ruin your experience. It's a half-roguelite/half-puzzle game and it's so well made and so intricate. It will take you a little while to start peeling back the layers, but once you start getting into it you realise just how much depth there is under the surface.
If you have any interest in puzzles you should play this game. Like right now. It's cheap too, not even €30 full price. It'll probably be a GOTY candidate and it's definitely the best new game I've played in quite a while. Absolutely beautiful distinctive art style too, which meshes perfectly with the themes of the game.
It's Barca's to lose at this point.
I love it. That's actually so sweet.
I like the tone and feel here as of yet. People are more friendly, interactions are more pleasant and it feels easier to participate. A higher proportion of comments are worthwhile to read and/or engage with. It's still small enough that you'll have your post or comment seen by people instead of being immediately drowned out by one liners and karma farming injokes.
It's also still got that homely feeling where it's small enough that you start recognising usernames, which makes the community feel a bit more closely knit. Sometimes even perhaps being recognised yourself, which makes you feel more like part of a community rather than a faceless Redditor screaming into the void.
I also am tearing my hair out about the ::: spoiler spoiler drawing room safe code. The other safes had the clue in the same room but for the life of me I can't figure out the paintings with the steps. :::
The whole aimed shots thing makes combat magnitudes more fun in the classic Fallouts. Maybe this is telling of when I first played the games (hint: I was a teen), but there is something about taking cheap shots at people's groin that doesn't get old. Becoming a Prizefighter by exclusively and indiscriminately punching your opposition in the dick is always going to be funny.
The critical hits and misses are also very entertaining, though definitely add to the notorious RNG. The animations and effects, like disintegrations and splatter, also make combat a lot more satisfying.
Possible strategies for the Bahrain GP
If this is a one-stop we're doomed. And I have a sinking feeling in my stomach that it will be.

It hasn't been the most active lately but with the recent influx of new users I thought it might be a good time to promote it. I'll try to make an effort to post more but no promises.
After 7-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, Fabian Hürzeler held a cigarette lighter to his tactics book, flicked the switch and burnt his failed game plans in front of the players.

Very impressive turnaround from Brighton and Hurzeler. Curious to see who comes out on top in tonight's rematch.

Swiping left-to-right doesn't always take you back
It would be great to at least have an option for swiping left-to-right to work as the "back" button, even in menus.
Currently it only seems to work if you've got a post open. If you for example swipe left-to-right when viewing a community, the left side drawer menu with your subscriptions opens instead.
I personally find the back button a little hard to reach with my right thumb, and having the swipe to go back be consistent helps using the phone one handed.
List of minor feature requests
Feature Request: Custom font color for pinned posts
The pin icon is a little too subtle for me and since a lot of pinned posts are threads I tend to revisit (like weekly discussion threads) it's nice to have them stand out more in the feed. Sync does this and I always appreciated that feature.
Certified Ferrari Weekend
F1 Power Rankings for the Australian Grand Prix
I know these are always terrible, but this strikes me as particularly bad. Yuki driving the wheels off that car and getting screwed by his team is definitely a solid 7 👍
Swiping from left to to back after having used the search function opens the keyboard
Seems to occur until app is restarted. If I use search, then to back to my home feed, open a post and then swipe to go back my keyboard still pops up.
Preseason testing is almost upon us, what technical podcasts do you recommend for performance analysis?
I used to go to BrrrakeF1 (an ex race engineer for Red Bull), and would listen to the Engine Braking podcast for my F1 analysis fix in podcast form because of him. It's been over a year since he's quit content creation by now though, and I'm feeling the void still.
Does anyone else know of a podcast with good technical knowledge? KYLE ENGINEERS is always good for aero analysis at the start of a season, but ideally I want something more regular than that.

As an early contributor to Disco Elysium, as well as a member of Kurvitz's tabletop sessions over the years, Martin Luiga discusses Elysium, as well as touches on his relationships with Robert and Argo Tuulik and more. He also confirms he, Robert, Alex Rostov and Helen Hindpere are in fact working on something for Red Info.
Worth listen!
Another Disco Elysium spiritual successor announced: Summer Eternal
Summer Eternal is a brand new project in collective art-making, developing counter-cultural computer role-playing games with a commitment to worker co-ownership and artistic integrity.
This one has Argo Tuulik and Lenval Brown involved, which lends some serious credibility to the project in my eyes. Tuulik was one of the prominent writers of Disco Elysium, as well as one of the settings' co-creators as one of the players in Kurvitz's tabletop RPG sessions.

Pictured in this graph: what xG does to a motherfucker.
I thought this graph was super interesting as it is a near-perfect illustration of when data analytics and advanced statistics started to enter into football (2014-2016) and some of the effects it's had on the game.
