I’ve given Amanda Palmer the slant eye ever since her The Art of Asking TED talk. It seemed to me that she either doesn’t understand or pretends not to understand power dynamics in relationships.

Is there any veracity to the claim that "the PSL covered up SA allegations"? I hear it a lot in discussions surrounding the PSL. I wanna know if this is a valid concern

This is a throwaway because I legitimately feel like a huge pos for making this post. So let me start off with saying:

Perhaps they spoke too soon. On August 2 and 3, KBS News reported that a police investigation revealed that Chun had been sexually molesting teenage girls at the boarding school he established for North Korean defectors. Dozens of girls reported that the pastor routinely groped them over a period of several years, to the point that several girls dropped out of the school and students who stayed would lock their doors if they saw the pastor coming to the dormitory.

For those that are unaware, ethnic violence has affected the state of Manipur in India for about the past three months.

Manipur has been in the grip of ethnic violence resulting in the deaths of over 150 persons, displacement of tens of thousands of people and horrific crimes against women.

It has been taking place between the majority Meitei community and the minority Kuki community.
