Instagram has launched Edits, a video editing app that’s intended to rival the TikTok-linked equivalent CapCut. First announced in January, Edits is available for free from today on iOS and Android.
Edits is described as a “video creation app designed for creators,” and includes tools for project management, tracking notes and ideas, and data on video performance. There are also advanced editing tools not found in the regular Instagram app, like AI animations created from static images, green screen replacement, and subject cutouts.
The editing features are remarkably similar to those in
If you’ve spent any time around stock trading communities, chances are you’ve heard the name Webull pop up more than once. It’s not just another brokerage app—it’s one of the go-to platforms for retail traders across the globe. But what exactly is Webull? Why do so many individual traders prefer it over other platforms? And how does NVSTly take its capabilities even further?
Let’s break it all down.
What Is Webull?
Webull is a commission-free trading app that allows users to trade stocks, ETFs, options, and cryptocurrencies from their phones or desktop. Launched in 2017, it quickly gained popularity for its sleek interface, real-time data, and powerful tools—all without the traditional fees associated with many brokerage pla
Why file taxes when you can play a game about it instead?

Tax season is upon us. Individual income tax returns are due April 15 in the United States. If you haven’t filed your taxes yet, why not procrastinate a little bit longer and play some games instead? Here are five games about taxes to play to procrastinate filing your taxes. Some involve filing virtual taxes, some involve avoiding them, and one actually helped people prep their real taxes in 2022. But they all have two things in common: adorable art styles and loads of fun.
People seem to love this game. It was one of the best reviewed demos of Steam Next Fest.

Russia state-aligned threat actors target Signal Messenger accounts used by individuals of interest to Russia's intelligence services.

Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) has observed increasing efforts from several Russia state-aligned threat actors to compromise Signal Messenger accounts used by individuals of interest to Russia's intelligence services. While this emerging operational interest has likely been sparked by wartime demands to gain access to sensitive government and military communications in the context of Russia's re-invasion of Ukraine, we anticipate the tactics and methods used to target Signal will grow in prevalence in the near-term and proliferate to additional threat actors and regions outside the Ukrainian theater of war.
Signal's popularity among common targets of surveillance and espionage activity—such as military personnel, politicians, journalists, activists, and other at-risk communities—has positioned the secure messaging application as a high-value target for adversaries seeking to intercept sensitive information that could fulfil a range of different intelligence requirements

This post discusses something not so popular, yet it can have a massive impact.
I will focus on moving from What'sApp to Signal, as it has decent privacy-respecting features, and already has a big inertia.
Moving to Signal is rather easy, both for existing users (asking their friends), and for new users (setting up Signal). Yet, somehow, it doesn't happen as much as we would like to. Still many people we know don't use Signal.
Some of the reasons why :
we don't ask those people to move, because we're not familiar enough with them
they don't move because they don't really "have to"
I have a draft designed for all types of fediverse software, but i narrowed it down to just threadiverse stuff
This is a guide meant to be linked for beginners, to explain the fediverse in as short time as possible.
Concepts
What's "federation"?
In easy terms; it's a concept where instances seamlessly integrate with each other. Users can talk to each other and participate in their communities. For example, my account is on lemm.ee and the community i am posting to is on slrpnk.net, yet i feel no friction.
What's an instance?
An instance is a server running software, with users, and communities, etc. (Each of these is like a mini-reddit/twitter/etc!)
The software part is important, since instances can either be forums, microblogs, video-sharing sites, etc etc. And they can all interact with each other!
What's the "fediverse"?
The fediverse (federation + universe) is a coalition of federated instances running all types of different software, so a user from a forum instan
I want to share a game I’m currently working on – a 2D physics-based battle simulator inspired by Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Age of War, and Stick War. Stick Ragdoll Battle Simulator is a wacky, strategy-driven battle simulator where 2D active ragdoll physics meets epic stickman combat. Build your army, upgrade units with the merge system, and unleash chaos with devastating elemental superpowers like thunderstorms, fire meteors, tornadoes, and tsunamis!

Nothing has changed with Luck be a Landlord in the past few months, but for whatever reason, my game "contains gambling" now!
I've already gone through this song and dance multiple times with Google Play over the game being banned by them in 13 countries, so while this isn't exactly new, it's a lot scarier!
I genuinely think Luck be a Landlord deserves the equivalent of an E10+ rating across all regions, but at this point I've just given up and will deal with whatever inacc
This community is for the game Katana ZERO, which is developed by Askiisoft and published by Devolver Digital. Feel free to post Arts, Question, Gameplay or Memes. Also make sure you read our rules before posting.
The freegames community has been going for a year and a half now, probably time I updated the info.
What to post
This is a place to post limited-time giveaways of full video games that are then yours to keep forever at no cost. Please use the search to check what you're posting hasn't already been posted, and start your posts with [Source] so that people can ignore giveaways they're not interested in. For example, if Fanatical were giving away a Steam key for Pong, I'd title the post [Fanatical/Steam] Pong.
I post deals as I find them (sometimes spread out over a few days or bundled together so it doesn't get too noisy) but feel free to post them if you find them first.
We’re Feral Interactive, we’ve been porting AAA games to new platforms for nearly 30 years. Starting out bringing PC games to Mac, over the years we’ve expanded to Linux, iOS & Android, and Nintendo Switch. Our catalogue includes (but is in no way limited to!) the Total War series on Mac, Linux and mobile, and Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal, Company of Heroes, and Alien: Isolation for mobile and Switch.
Last month we released Total War: EMPIRE for iOS and Android,
Okay, so I've seen roughly a half dozen posts just today that are not orbs, not anomalous, not anything other than airplanes in holding patterns waiting to land. I get it... I live 5-10 miles or so from a major airport, and sometimes it looks weird. Airplanes can be REALLY bright -- in some cases, their landing lights can be seen from >100 miles away, and when they turn and dim... yeah, it looks weird. But it isn't. Its totally normal.
the best thing we can do is keep ourselves informed and better able to discern actual anomalies from routine events. One of the tools I use is a flight data tracker to map aircraft transponder data. It shows real-time locations of aircraft
