With the end of DivestOS also GMaps WV had been discontinued by the developer. I decided to take on maintainership for this app and I am happy to announce there are new updates on F-Droid.
It is published under GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 as before.

My employer is offering smartphone from either Samsung or Google. Well, they are offering Apple too but I figured that's the bastard child.
My 1st priority is a 3.5 mm jack; which, btw, out of 22 phones, not a single one has. I hope Tim will be cooked in 7 hells.
My 2nd priority is rootability. Based on my budget, I'll have to choose between Samsung Galaxy A35
& Google Pixel 7
. Which one will be better?
Thanks in Advance!
PS:
I don't plan to root it while I'm employeed, obviously. I'll root it after I leave & my employer has cleared everything from the phone.

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share a milestone and get some feedback from the open-source community here.
Last year, I launched textbee.dev, an open-source Android SMS gateway that lets you send and receive SMS messages directly using your Android phone.
This week, we hit 5,000 users and 1,200+ github stars! 🎉
for those who haven’t heard of it, textbee is an open-source sms-gateway with the following features:
It comes with an Android app and web UI, s
SmartScan - A smart image organizer with text-based image search. Now available on F-droid!

The Play Store on Android TV is literally the devil if you're like me and aiming to make your android experience as FOSS as possible. Anybody know of a third party app store or (preferably) a F-Droid repo that only features FOSS Android TV apps and tools?
It doesn't need to be an actual Android TV app itself, really just a source to download the APKs on my phone or Windows PC will do just fine - then I can move them to an external storage and install them on my Shield Pro!
Thanks in advance, seriously though - there's little that I appreciate more than the open source/foss android community.
*By FOSS I mean open source/freeware only, stock OEM ports are

Hey folks, I recently stumbled upon AndrOBD, and I’m honestly surprised more people aren’t talking about it.
It’s a fully free & open-source OBD2 diagnostics app for Android that works with any ELM327-compatible adapter. I’ve been using it with my ObdLink MX+, and it connects flawlessly. Shows live sensor data, fault codes (you can also erase them), fuel trims, and more. There’s a solid amount of features, and it's actively maintained — which is rare for FOSS car apps.
It might be the only working, regularly updated FOSS OBD2 app out there right now.

So far I like it, and I'm mostly aware of the advantages of Molly over Signal's normal client. However, I'm a little confused on using a MollySocket. Not even sure if I really need to. It looks like there's some additional steps needed, not to mention another app (what's recommended is ntfy), and it's kind of unclear (to a non-expert like me, anyway) how to set up the MollySocket. This mostly looks like it's to use UnifiedPush, instead of Google's services, to get notifications. And I'm all for that, but if I'm using Graphene, is it necessary to use the MollySocket since Graphene proxies everything?
I'm on a Pixel 9, running GrapheneOS

I remember reading complains in the past that there are no download counts on F-Droid and that it's easy to miss some great FOSS apps. So I came up with a solution: put all the apps in a table and include various details including GitHub/GitLab stars. Sort the table by the latest additions, updates, stars, filter by category, description or just anything...
