I have unlocked bootloader, flashed miui 14.0.7.0 (in setting it had still shown 14.09.0, but I read its a miui bug), flashed "additional partitions", lineage recovery, formatted storage, "successfully verified" boot.img using python and tried to install it with "adb sideload lineage-20.0-20230701-microG-alioth.zip". Progress percent goes up to 47% and stops. Lineage recovery asks "Signature verification failed Install anyway?". I click yes. Terminal on bottom of recovery writes 5 errors and "install completed with status 1" and in next line "installation aborted". When I click "reboot system now", recovery asks "WARNING: Previous installation has failed. Your device may fail to boot if you reboot now. Confirm reboot?". I click yes.
Phone shows poco and miui boot logos, plays boot sound and screen goes black. My pc (win10) detects phone and opens empty file of it in file explorer. When I press screen on/off button it plays sound of going to sleep mode. Nothing else. Then
Since downloading Aurora Store v 4.2.3 several days ago I have tried about a dozen times on different days to use it to install the Firefox app on my S4 without success.
I can't get the Aurora Store app to work.
I would be grateful for any help you could give me.
Before installing the ZIP you should check that it has the correct signature. You have to use a Python script to verify the signature, available here. Install Python 3 (if not already done) and the required packages (as explained in the README), then run:
Since I updated my android to the newest available version I periodically get the green location warning because Déjà Vu is updating its records. Is there any way to hide this warning?
I'm glad microg set up shop here on Lemmy! Here's the first topic. The most recent release dumped unified nlm, and I want to know what that means for the future. I just found a new module, that works great, and now it is useless when I upgrade microg.
I searched everywhere, but there's no discussion about how to get features like locally built data points or downloading tower and WiFi databases.
Mozilla nlm requires internet, which I suppose is fine for most of the time, but when camping in the wilderness, is kinda useless.
