I realized there are some microblogs in the magazines I mod, (but since I don't use it I ignore it by default) I know I have to moderate that too, but I don't find the option to receive notifications

In kbin settings I can find these options

New threads (links or articles) in any magazine to which I'm subscribed

Does anyone know why federated #microblogs wouldn't show up in a given #magazine? I've added #tags for a magazine I moderate, but posts don't show up with any regularity. However, upon clicking the tag in the magazine description, all sorts of posts with the tag show up.

I'm at a bit of an empass. It was easy to communicate with a single mod but now that we're 3, communication is tough. I thought maybe Microsoft OneNote... but it just doesn't have the privacy and decentralization that's consistent with kbin.

What are your suggestions? how do you guys do it?

In the microblog, I had gotten a couple on topic, but against the rules posts. When asking the poster to fix what was against the rules, I found out they hadn't posted in the magazine at all.

I assume this is what should have happened if I had added anything in tags under the magazine panel. Considering one of the rules of the magazine is "no self-promotion", I decided it would be too much hassle to drag in content from the fediverse like that and left it blank. So this shouldn't have happened, I think.

Can anyone help me figure out how this came to pass?

I understand that "articles" do not go to mastodon, but "microblogs" do. There are 3 "posts" (microblogs) in my magazine, but nothing has appeared under the magazine's account on Mastodon. There are apparently 11 followers over there, so I feel bad that they are not getting any content.

Is there a way to share content to Mastodon via my magazine's mastodon profile? Why don't microblog post from Kbin carry over to Mastodon?

Hello kbin! Since there’s a lot of new users migrating to this platform, I decided to make a short guide to creating and moderating a magazine. This will be a quick and short guide since there will be a lot of new features coming soon.
