Recently Freetube, which I mainly use for Youtube stopped working and I had a pleasure to open Youtube link in incognito mode. Adverts popping up on the beginning of every video, in random moments while video was playing and when switching to specific timestamp made me realize how much I should be thankful for adblockers and alternative frontends.

Arnis is an open-source tool that generates any real-world location in Minecraft Java Edition with incredible detail and accuracy using OpenStreetMap data.
Select the square on OpenStreeMap and the app will generate the world directory, which can be opened in Minecraft Java Edition.
I haven't figured out yet what's the best world scale ratio, but visiting known locations is fun.

Changing interface theme is not consistent for all elements
Changing the interface theme in settings doesn't change the bars. For example if I want to go "darkly-pureblack" I keep seeing the rgb bars. How to make it consistent for these elements?

Morning people, how do you manage to wake up early like 5 am as a computer person?
You know that rule "shut down all screens" 1 hour before sleep, but there's always something to watch/to program etc. Have you found the discipline to do it regularly?
How do you deal with the going-out in the evening, if you strive to wake up at that time?
Do you have some interesting/intense routine like running, which was quite common in american movies?
Regarding mobile phone choice you could always go all the way and get dumb phone. :D
How do you find the compromise between privacy and daily phone usage?
I have degoogled my phone few years ago it really hit me how much the phones depend on Google services. Few examples from of my daily usage when I compromised:
- Communication
I'm in students group, people there have own group chat on facebook messenger. They share info regarding tests, deadlines etc. Basically standard uni messaging. Unless I had fake Facebook account to be there I would have to collect all info by myself. The alternative is a discord server, which in privacy terms is questionable choice too.
At least I have few friends who use Signal or Element, but it's minority.

That motivated to switch the bank and app, which doesn't really on Google Play services. The easiest way to do that was browsing Huawei app store and finding the most suitable app

You've probably already heard the story: we got contracted to analyze a bunch of trains breaking down after being serviced by independent workshops. We reverse engineered them and found code which simulated failures when they detected servicing attempts. We presented our findings at 37C3… and then shit hit the fan.
This talk will be an update about what happened since our 37C3 presentation. We’ll talk about:
- Three parliamentary workgroup sessions with dirty bathroom photos on Newag’s offtopic slides, train operators revealing that they paid Newag more than 20k EUR for unlocking a single train, which Newag was able to unlock in 10 minutes, and at the same time saying that they don’t know anything about the locks.
