Nice bug, posting the cover photo upside down. I'll keep it.

  • The reason those three products are safe is because they can use them to protect their ad business. No other reason.

  • I'm a white male living in Alabama, and I'm very sorry to hear of this. I'm really sorry and I promise you I'm doing my best to vote in a way that makes life better for you (far above and beyond the current climate). You're all loved.

Should we be using the Chrome power management settings?

Has anyone done some testing/validation to see if we should be using Chrome's battery/power management settings or Arc is doing their own thing? I noticed the settings from Chrome are disabled.

I'm loving Arc, but they need to fix some bugs.

I love Arc and loved the new features and approach they've introduced. It's pretty solid. But I do wonder, for the last few releases, why they're so infatuated with adding features and ignoring obvious bugs.

I've reported numerous bugs to them (which have existed in at least the last four versions of Arc, including the current 1.01) and they've gone unfixed or ignored. I do worry that they're so enamored with getting attention over new features that they won't take some time to fix some of the obvious and glaring bugs.

Here's to hoping they do spend some time on this for a little while.

  • The recent RHEL drama hasn't changed any of that?

  • I like the fediverse. It reminds me of the old school Internet days - IRC, usenet, etc., before all the corporate tech bros muscled in. I'd prefer for it to stick, but I have some fears about it. I hope everything will be ok.

I do feel a little lost looking for my old Reddit communities, but I keep hoping we'll just cross paths again. For now, I'm just sitting back and enjoying the firehose.
