Sébastien Squillaci said it would have been 'practically impossible' for him to turn down a bid from Arsène Wenger

Agreed we have to beat the best. Such a boring draw for us though. I would’ve liked someone new (not Bayern, Barcelona or Man City).
I like Balotelli for his child-like simplicity haha. He only said it when someone asked him why he doesn’t always celebrate his goals, not about other people celebrating.
They had one. Diaz hit one straight into the arms of Raya.
The midfield 4 (including Havertz) were fantastic.
Thanks!!
Shit I wanted to vote Gabriel as motm but ended up picking Saliba by mistake.
Doesn’t have to do everything else that Jesus does at the same level. We created chances okay today without Jesus in the squad.
Jesus is not clinical.
Someone more clinical than Jesus and Nketiah? That’s not a reach.
Agreed, we honestly played well except for the finishing. That helps me not feel like total shit today. I was hoping we get a clinical striker at least on loan but Arteta said it’s not realistic.
Happy new year! Bored of the shit results I want January-March, August-November Arsenal back.
Finishing and defence both subpar
Rice was uncharacteristically poor today, not that it mattered much because the whole team was poor.
We were just not sharp against West Ham. Yes we didn’t finish our chances, at the same time, passes didn’t have the same zip, build up was a little too slow.
Reminds me of the guy who used to work at the dairy processing plant. They caught him skimming.
Perfect dad joke. Made me groan-laugh. I’d make it more obvious by changing it to: “A lemon tree, my dear Watson.”
1-0 TO THE ARSENAL!
Yayyy! The feeling when you figure out an earworm is… something else. :P

What did Piers Morgan say?
Thanks for putting it up. Sadly I can’t be arsed to vote after what happened.
Man City had four shots. That's the fewest they have managed in a Premier League game since April 2010, also against Arsenal. City's last shot of the game came in the 58th minute.
Sigh. Frustrating game.
Thinking of posting this gif made me laugh despite the result. Hope it helps you all too.

Throwback relevant to our CL group stage draw. I remember thinking this could be a smart signing back when it was announced.
