many users can log in. If you can not login and want to delete your data, Reddit must delete that information. It is data you created and it does not belong to Reddit. Not allowing you delete data you created on their website is Reddit begging for a lawsuit.
you can still delete your conent after being banned from the site. It was a ban, not seizure of your metadata. If you deleted something and Reddit chose to hold onto it, they are asking for a lawsuit.
This will not stop you from deleting your content from Reddit which was obtained for free from you, after they turn around to ban you/deny you access to their services.
we can always build another one. Reddit is nothing without people's data and contributions which is why I advise you to delete your data if they decide to ban your account permanently.
that's strange. You should be able to login to your permanently banned account and delete your data. Reddit is stealing your content if they prevent you from making changes to your data after a permanent ban.
Old games rock. I recently played Prince of Persia; Warrior Within and there was no console update, game patch to download, daily login reward, update centre telling me updates I may have missed. None of that crap. Power-on, loading scree, game time, done!
Modern games are designed like a full-time job that you pay to work for the company.
edit your data. replace your posts with random single words. that would overwrite the backed up data.
Another route is to sue them, I'll be welcome to a coalition of former reddit users who have been exploited like this to pull resources together and make reddit surrender the backup of banned user data.
HAve you tried logging in after a reddit permaban?
The point of the permaban is that reddit no longer wants you to use their service. What they conveniently leave out is your accumulated data which stays with them. I mean if reddit deems you unnecessary, then they should get rid of your data, but they will not. They use it to make money. A permaban is an inconvenience to you, but free money for them.
