I played cornet (small trumpet) then baritone (small euphonium) in a brass-band basically from primary school up until I graduated university and moved oversea. I went to conservatorium through all the amateur levels, got my certificate degree and then stopped classes. My town band would also compete regionally and nationally, and get decent results!
I guess I got good enough to play properly in my town band and be first chair of the baritone section, but I was never passionate enough to go pro, or even to join a more important band.

After a message earlier this week by Blaze, it seems to make sense to lock down this community and merge all the Pokémon TCG Pocket discussion on Lemmy to [email protected], which is more active and also maybe more discoverable because of it's name (contains the word "pokémon", unlike here...).

u/madthumbs is a long-known troll in the Linux community for creating R*ddit and Lemmy pages called various forms of "linux sucks". Some of their memes are fun, most are just old, unfunny and redundant jokes.
I just noticed their user account on SJW got banned (probably as recently as yesterday), so I'm officially requesting here to take over the moderator position for the c/linuxsucks page.
As an enthusiastic Linux user for a long time, I want to promote posting, sometimes self-deprecating, Linux and Linux-related memes on the SJW instance!
