I've had kbin show me a 500 once or twice, but it was because my ethernet cable had slipped the socket.
I've gotten more complex custom errors of indeterminate type, generally when posting, but typically the error is in error, as the post completes as expected.
I mean, there's a lot of motivation to not do anything with twitter but stay away from it
Babylon 5 was the show I wanted to like, knew I was supposed to like, was literally made for me by people who's work I freaking loved elsewhere; but as much as I wanted it to, it just never really spoke to me.

Interesting but not really helpful. I found something in a recent FAQ that says I should add an article instead of a post, but the option to add an article is not on the menu on my instance, as it is in their screenie
Also I'm a mastodon user, and my account there is the focus of my microblogging activity. The user there follows this account, so my posts here, show up there. The short story is, the microblog here is essentially a right pain in my ass.

One thing that should always taken into consideration by software peeps is that when making a 'replacement' like this (dont tell me it's not a replacement for reddit, there's too much signal in the noise of this mag about 'reddit migration'), is that users that are relocating their operations will need extra handholding and assistance.
Unlike a lot of us, these peeps aren't casually learning how to do a new cool thing, they're typically perceiving some real and or imagined (Hey, both can cause a lot of stress and anxiety!), they're fleeing something, and trying to settle into a new, safer place; or so they hope.
