  • Thanks for the posts!

  • Good to know! I’ll check that out. I remember hearing something about this in a review.

  • I need to start that second one!

  • I love that these games are getting more attention! I recently played Aria of Sorrow and I loved it.

Finally catching up on God of War

I know how some people feel about PS2 and PSP being considered retro. But here we are.

I finally got to finish God of War 2 and Ghost of Sparta in the past couple of weeks. It’s being a great experience playing it with upscale and in a portable fashion.

Now I got the remastered version of the 3rd game and I’m ready for it!

What games have you dropped for one reason or another years ago and you want to pick it back up?

  • I played it somewhat recently too, and I agree at the end it was getting tiresome. I wish it ended a little bit sooner. Great game overall though, I love the mechanics.

    Maybe not the crying 🤣

  • I don’t remember when I got to play SMB but at that time my friends had a SNES or Genesis. But I played the hell out of it!

  • I’m also from ‘85 and had forgotten about SMB releasing that year. Now I gotta do a play through on my birthday. Great setup btw!

  • I get the idea but it does not work for me. I need to uninstall it. That’s what I did for Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram.

  • And I thought my issues were because the dongle was bad. I mean, it’s still bad (lack of shielding) but I thought it was a range issue.

  • Nintendo has a bad track record on this though, the recent Donkey Kong release has this issue.

  • A JSAUX Dock, Vader 3 controller, and Phillips SHP9500 headphones.

  • MK8 is amazing. I was actually playing it again this weekend with my kid, the Wii U version. It’s fantastic.

  • That’s a shame. I remember I was very impressed by this game when I played it back then! I didn’t finish it though.

  • Good to know it runs well! Games from that era sometimes are very picky with controllers. Try this:

  • Yeah, I love we can do that if we want, even though I don’t do it much myself

Sega Genesis version running on a Steam Deck (docked)

I love this Genesis/Saturn-like 8bitdo controller! Just holding it is so nostalgic.

    Plucky Squire on Steam Deck

    Plucky Squire review by SteamDeckHQ

I'm a little bit bummed by the performance and RAM glitch on this one. I'm still excited for it though! I'll wait a little bit for a patch, even though is totally playable at launch.
