What we usually do is find an empty milk jug or soda bottle to collect them in, and we have a method where rake and spread out garbage out before we pick it up in order to spot any sharps and avoid injuries.

Take them to the YMCA or something.

Done that plenty, it makes a huge difference and as people notice they come and help out too.

The true fix is that politics and regulations matter, and we can't just exchange memes all day long without ever getting involved in politics.
Because if we do not, someone else will, and chances are it's gonna be someone looking to personally profit from our exploitation.
There's been efforts to make voting day a paid federal holiday, but alas-- that would turn the USA liberal and the powers that be cannot have that.
But their time is coming to an end and they know it, which is why they are going crazy now.
There was a time when I would have accepted to go back for 3x the pay, or just go back and slack my ass off until I got fired, laughing my way to the bank.
But what changed for me is that I realized they are a bunch of self-serving liars-- and if they screwed me over once, they will totally do it again.
I would be stupid to put myself into that position and be stressed out the whole time trying to anticipate when they are going to pull the rug from underneath me again.
Instead, I rather move on to a new job, meet some new people, get paid to watch training videos which are often interesting and valuable (and if they are not, I just play Balatro on my phone while I half listen to them).
I also almost always get a pay raise when I move on to a new job, but not always. Moving from public accounting to state government accounting was a significant pay cut for me, but now I am going to get much better benefits, work less hours, my coworkers I've met so far are awesome, and the work I am going to do actually helps protect my state and my community. I know I'm going to be much happier in this new role and I value that more than I value money. And if I'm not, I'll just bounce and find something else.
And I know we often think that's easy to say when you don't have kids to feed, and while it is true that I do not, I would much rather explain to my kids that we will all have to learn how to plant a veggie garden together and make do with less before I teach them to accept being abused and exploited for the extra money.
There's been quotas and monitoring at every single one of my jobs, and all they do is alienate the talented staff and leaves the loyal morons & the money-driven behind.
The last two firms I worked at are still desperately begging me to come back, three years after I resigned, because the ship is rapidly sinking since their AI replacement strategy did not plan out.
I just resigned my latest position, and I'm gonna take a week or two to get back into making art and music, and then I'm going to take my talent and energy to the organizations fighting back against fascism.
You should care, because that's how Apple gets stronger and monopolies are created.

The most powerful thing the average American can do is boycott.
I work in finance and the Q1 reports for Amazon, Tesla, Target, and Meta are fucking bleak. Despite the huge numbers in them, they are losing customers and sales at a faster rate than ever before and that is only expected to ramp up. And once a consumer rejects a company, they are often intrinsically motivated to move on to alternatives or go without, and thus it is highly unlikely they will ever return.
The other most powerful thing some Americans can do is sabotage.
If you work for a fascist organization, you need to sabotage their operations. There's plenty of guides online, but it can be as simple as slacking, making mistakes that waste everyone's time, spreading rumors about leadership, demanding that every tiny little thing follows company policy exactly to the letter, rambling in meetings and taking up time, ordering 1500 units instead of 150, question the loyalty of the most loyal company employees, spill water on electronics or plug cables into the wrong holes, etc.
And of course, there's a reason why billionaires are so fucking paranoid and want Luigi dead, because they are hoping to send a strong message to all of their private staff about the price of betraying their overlords.
I'm sure some people do, but not most.
I unfortunately deal with a lot of Trumpers due to my job and they are never able to quote him or will say shit like:
"HE NEVER SAID THAT"
And you show them a video, news articles, etc. and they say:
"THAT IS FAKE NEWS TRYING TO MAKE HIM LOOK BAD!"
And that's what I mean by nobody actually listens to him.
They listen to what Fox News, Joe Rogan, and other sycophants tell them that Trump said.
If my job was translating what Trump says into another language, I would just quit my job because it would give me a stroke trying to make sense of his verbal diarrhea.
Because interpreting is not just translating the words-- the words themselves often don't exist in other languages.
For example, the word "nice" does not exist in Spanish, so you have to translate what the speaker is trying to convey by contextualizing the word and matching it with words in Spanish that mean convey that same meaning.
Trump just speaks his train of thought, and that mofo is completely detached from reality.

I'm American but I did not grow up in the USA.
When I moved to the USA, I was like "Wow, this country is abusive and exploitative AF."
Half of Americans didn't vote for Trump. The problem is that most Americans did not even bother to vote.
American elections are tilted towards Republicans because they gerrymandered districts, made voting harder by removing voting places to create long waiting lines. You also have to take the day off work to go vote and a lot of people cannot afford to do that. They also made it illegal to give voters waiting any water. It's all fucking absurd.
Young Americans are victims of a system created to exclude them from being represented by their government.
And what is happening to Americans is happening to all other countries as well, including yours.
I have a disease as well, and RFK Jr wants to send me to a labor camp for it because he believes my disease is something I am choosing to have despite its painful disadvantages.
Thus, I disagree.
We all need to dunk on him as much as possible for the disease he has that he cannot change because vicious mockery is the only thing that cows narcissists.
I mean, just look at Elon after he got bullied online playing PoE. Their own behavior turned against them is the only thing they understand.

I hate the moronic way in which Trump speaks. It's such a waste of everyone's time and energy.
Nobody actually listens to Trump speak because our brain cells don't recover as fast as they die off trying to make sense of what comes out of his fat mouth.
I hate it almost as much as I hate Dr. Brain Worm speak. RFK Jr always sounds like he's got the world's collective phlegm stuck in his throat when he speaks.
