Woah, I just checked and I also use 1600 DPI. Let's start a cult.
I would assune it's moreso about their being fat, which fits in with the idea of making fun of someone who spends too much time online.
Not to say it isn't also about beauty, nor am I commenting upon whether or not they'd get as many comments about their appearance were they men, for the record.
Hey, don't assume how high someone's bar is!
'Lo and behold'
(Terribly sorry, I can't help myself.)
Switzerland is not in the EU, just fyi.
After having that same issue with haguichi, I switched to using hamachi in the terminal only and haven't had it happen since.
Americans will do anything other than buy an electric kettle.
Who said I'd still have toes?
Agreed. Funnily I'm from a more temperature country and she's from where I'm at now, but she's the one that is always cold and wants to keep it at ~22. I ain't gonna argue considering she pays the electricity bill, though.
It's gonna get down to -30°C this week, I'll turn the heat off and just throw on the good ol' toque and a sweater and report back, assuming I still have fingers.
I use CachyOS and it works great for my gaming needs. I use a PS4 controller on it just fine, no clue about the newer XBOX controllers, but I don't see why they wouldn't.
More like [ˈd̪ät̪ä], no long vowel.
That's my B, I was looking at Ecclesiastical Latin for that one :3
Interesting points though, thanks for the elaboration. Shows the layers of silliness that is depending upon other languages for the way we pronounce words.
Your science teacher was wrong, unfortunately. In Classical Latin, datum is pronounced as [ˈd̪ät̪ʊ̃ˑ] "dah-too(m)" and likewise data as [ˈd̪äːt̪ä] [ˈd̪ät̪ä] "dah-tah."
Not that Latin should really have a say in how we speak English anyhow.
Happy Canada day, legends.
Take the red pill, all linguistic categories are equally unreal.
Nearly half the temperature needed to boil water.

Paginated Feed Option
I'm asking for this in a few different communities for lemmy apps because I'd really appreciate the feature, I hope this isn't seen as spam.
Pagination adds points of resistance during use and allows for a natural stopping point that can give one the clarity of mind to limit app use to a healthy amount. I understand that the normal web client is like this, but it would be nice to have the option in app form as well.
There are also accessability reasons to consider this, as outlined in this article.
On a personal note, infinite scrolling gives me anxiety, and can be a problem for those with other mental health disorders as is also outlined in the aforementioned article.
Thanks for reading.

Feature Request: Paginated Feed Option
I know this might be a but of a long shot, but I would love to see the option to enable a paginated feed, i.e. the user must choose to load the next page of content in their feed.

I understand that the normal web client is like this, but it would be nice to have this feature alongside other UI improvements from Liftoff.
On a personal note, infinite scrolling gives me anxiety and it would be great to be able to choose (of course with infinite scrolling still as the default, as I understand I might be in the minority here).
Thanks for your time and effort.

Bagels
My first attempt at making bagels, using Brian Lagerstrom's 1 hour bagel recipe. Can't recommend them enough.
