  • There is a downside, and that's why Switch 1 games have an option to become digital cartridges and it is not forced.

The downside resides in if a single account has multiple switches. With the current system, you have a primary switch on your account, and this switch can play any digital title whenever it wants. Any secondary switches on that account need to connect to the internet anytime they want to play a title. This leads to a flow where you may have your primary switch be a portable one (no need for internet to boot) and a secondary switch to be a dedicated at-home or docked device. Either switch can play any game you own without really planning much of anything. This will not be possible with the new system, where you will need to move digital licenses between consoles.

Additionally, you could have a friends account on your switch and you could borrow games that way, or they could sign in and play their games on your console while visiting you without having planned it before. Now, they will have to bring their own switch or otherwise preplan wanting to play a game on another console, and move that digital cartridge.

While I do think the new system is overall better, I also think its just wrong to claim there are no downsides when compared to the current system.

  • As someone very excited for this watch, the battery life with an always on display is more important to me than a sp02 sensor (Btw it will do sleep tracking). That and the button navigation are the killer features. The watch shows me what I need to know when I need to know it, always has the time on, and I can navigate it and control media playback without having to look at it (since buttons are consistent). I want a smart watch to be a good watch first then being smart is the second priority, and the pebble is the only watch I've ever had that gets those priorities right for me. Every other smart watch I've used sacrifices something I value to fit more features that I dont value as much. The pebbles have just gotten it right for me.

That said, the watch also isn't for everyone, and a lot of people are OK charging their watch every day if it means they also get every feature they want.

  • Unfortunately I dont have the time or willpower to go into detail and I do disagree with how you want change to come about, but if what you want happens, I truly hope it results in a better society for people to live in. I think we can both agree we just want things to be better for people.

  • I respectfully disagree that the party could never change due to their current funding, and I am rubbed the wrong way by how you continue to seem to push that I shouldn't support better politicians just because they aren't perfect.

  • Bernie and those like him have informed me and many others of what a good politician can look like and may have inspired others like AOC to start their career. I will support them as much as I can because they may inspire even more like them to actually have enough people to make a meaningful change in the party or, if we miraculously get away from the two party system, spin up a new one.

  • While I love 8bitdo, unfortunately I just dont find the Ultimate to be comfortable to use, and that will be the same with the sequel. I do, however, absolutely love my Pro 2. Its shaped like a SNES controller with handles and it is somehow the most comfortable controller I've ever used. it is the only controller with both analog sticks low that I find comfortable and yet it is more comfortable than all x-box styled controllers I've used. If they made a new version of that with 2.4ghz, TMR sticks, and updated all of their controllers to actually provide every function available in d-input mode at once for better customization, then it would be the perfect controller for me.

I did recently get the gamesir cyclone 2, and that is also an incredible controller. All it is missing feature-wise is that fully featured d-input mode, and an easy Bluetooth mode switch like the pro 2 has. The analog sticks are outstanding on it, but unfortunately the dpad just can't compete with 8bitdo. Again though, the cyclone 2 and pro 2 are overall incredible controllers for different reasons.

  • People can change. Not everyone is born aware of the seriousness of making that kind of joke.

I personally don't follow him so I don't personally have an opinion on whether he has changed, but I believe that people have the capability.

  • (I am not who you responded to) I do have ADHD and I can drink coffee right before bed and fall asleep without issue. The downside is that caffeine does nothing for me in the morning as well.
