  • tbf, social engineering still works. always has and always will when clueless end users are around.

  • the way i think it's something akin to a linked list in file system speak. I think of one thing, which leads to the next thing, which leads to the next thing, etc. it takes me a while to think of stuff, which often makes people think I'm stupid.

  • It surely can't be as bad as having rupe in charge? God, I will never forgive old rupe ruining the NBN :/ We could have had a MINIMUM 1Gbps! But no, fucking rupert ruined that shit. Fucking cunt.

  • I'm getting the popcorn, because murdoch's kids are fighting about newscorp and who is gonna control it. I think lachlan is in the lead atm?

  • yeah, I did a gene test and it turns out I'm 0.000001% irish. I may as well move there! (/s)

  • think of the children!

Nah bro, trump does every night while he's trying to pork melania.

  • I just spent $15 on an app to play my music from my navidrome, because I use it so much. I could have gone to another app (potentially free), but I like this one so much that i gave them their $15 for their hard work. For anyone interested, it's Nautaline on iOS.

  • cough google cough

  • didn't he try to convince one of the makers of the COVID vaccine to sell it at a profit, instead of giving it away free? Or was that something/someone else?

  • FYI, it's conscience, not conscious. Though admittedly, sometimes I wonder if these billionaire cunts are conscious at all.

  • I prefer ABAC. All Billionaires Are Cunts.

  • yep. Every accusation is a confession when these people are concerned.

  • if you have access to the file system, sed works well for renaming files and updating the links. Though admittedly, that's not a very convenient way to to do it.

edit: and fucks up the page edit history a little too.

  • I use DokuWiki, and i love that it's plaintext files. it makes backing them up so much easier. I can literally just zip the directory, then upload to somewhere else.

I am the only user on it, and i don't use too many advanced features, so I don't know how it stacks up against other more advanced wikis, such as mediawiki or wiki.js. Though I do use a lot of plugins, such as the infobox plugin. I love that plugin. It doesn't rival MediWiki's infobox, but it does the job well enough for me.

Note: I only have about 300 pages, so i have no idea how it stacks up against thousands or millions of pages, like MediaWiki.

  • if you break their TOS, you'll likely lose your data. So.... be careful. Mind you, I haven't read their TOS, so i don't know if those work arounds are breaking their TOS.

  • (sorry, thought you were OP)

  • Congrats on the wedding! Hopefully many happy years to come!

  • I’m with you. One of my cats was scared fucking shitless at the shelter and i doubt anyone would have taken him due to the hissing and spitting. But I saw something in him and he’s been such a lovely cuddle bug since I took him out of the scary place. Anyway, I’m glad you have your lass. Give her a cuddle from this random internet weirdo :)

  • Aww. That’s sweet. Thank you for looking out for them :)
