As an American it's another reason why I think we should be barred from hosting world sporting events. Also why the Olympics should be moved. The US is not to be trusted.
That's the problem when they never or rarely properly identify themselves. You can never truly know if they are to be believed.
I had the exact same experience when I first tried Linux. But now when I am evily forced into using Windows and HATE it any other way. Also I despise the windows terminal now (PowerShell & CMD).
Who would have thought. Is the UN going to do shot?
OF COURSE NOT
We all know pee goes on the floor. But the poops must go in the toilet. This makes the separation much easier.
I also don't trust Microsoft to keep it turned off. Even if it is truly off (really hard to tell) what's to say it doesn't turn back on in an update. I want an OS I can trust.
It needs to become more important than breathing for him. I need him to forget to breath for at least an hour (not taking any chances).
I would love to move to some US state with lots of forested country and go build a cute little homestead. Work part time to buy things I need.
Mmm...my dream. Also BTW I'm in my early 20's.
Sooo......arresting someone for there own free speech in a public building that in no way could be called a "threat".
It's a great example of why I push for the use of technologies where I don't have to trust companies to play nice with my data. If I use (correctly implemented) end to end encryption then you physically can't access my data.
I do love piracy and I do do it sometimes. But sometimes I don't want to spend 20 minutes finding a torrent and then another 30 minutes to an hour waiting for it to download.
My main issue with it is that I have to pre-plan if I want to watch anything through that method.
To bad they are all going to die.
Yet Israel won't be held accountable and you won't put sanctions on the United States. All the UN does is talk about human rights violations you never change anything.
There have been multiple genocides sense WWII and you don't seem to have ever really done anything preventive or proactive.
I'm really upset about BSKY and I had so much hope for them. But then they seem to be becoming what they sought to destroy. Reminds me of Proton.
Would you recommend an AMD or Intel?
On Home Server Hardware
I'm looking into to building a small media server. I will be th only user of it. So I don't need the ability to do simultaneous streams. I am planning on running Jellyfin.
Sense I am on a more limited budget I was thinking and older desktop and transcoding my files (on my powerful desktop) to be best supported and play smoothly.
Are there any specific recommendations you guys have for hardware I should keep a look out for that's cheaper or other recommendations for cheap hardware?
Think that pisses me off the most is how you can't uninstall it. First of all, I don't even really need a mail app on my computer. If I do, I'll install one I actually want to use.
I was hoping a European country would do this but it also does not boad well for how unstable America is.
That's so dumb of Bluesky. They should provide ways for poeple to get around it or point to resources that explain how.
I STRONGLY disagree with this move. Once you give into one country it can way to easily lead to others (with more power) also trying.
If they ever make this a standard feature in all TVs and make it where I can't just disconnect it from the internet, I will be using old TVs for the rest of my life.
My TV is there to display a visual output. It does not and should not do anything else.
