  • Beautiful shot! I forgot to check my DSLR and ensure it was charged, so i only got shots from my iPhone. Plus we have two large street lights that bled into the shot.

  • What do you swap for marshmallows? Besides vegan marshmallows, which i looked up and are $7 for a 10oz bag here, vs $1.25 for a 16oz bag of not vegan marshmallows.

  • I have, but not for many years as they are not vegetarian, and vegan marshmallows are expensive.

  • Interstellar has mlem, PieFed and Lemmy support, which is amazing.

I think you mean mbin support, as mlem is an iOS piefed/Lemmy app.

  • I agree the tone was harsh in that post, which is why I chose to reply here, and not there. Some of the replies are pretty harsh too.

As I said I stopped using Blorp because I was trying to change it into something that already existed.

  • I used Blorp for a while and found you mostly to be a very responsive developer. I stopped using Blorp because I found myself trying to get you to turn it into Mlem 2.0.

I had to unblock unpopular opinion to see the thread you linked. His first criticism, about long pressing to save an image is an issue I brought up with you quite some time ago. I do not see an issue for it, maybe it is not something I opened an issue for, but discussed it with you. You said saving images was done through the share menu or something. I still think there should be an option to long press to save.

Do I like Blorp? Yes I do. And I think you are doing a good job with it. And I will continue to use it on Mac.

    Keep on keeping on man.

Edit: thinking about the past discussion regarding saving images, it was in relation to the Mac app. So it likely was about right clicking to save, not long pressing.

SEATTLE (February 27, 2026) – The Seattle Torrent announced today that the team has placed captain Hilary Knight on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) and signed rookie forward Sydney Langseth to a Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement.

Knight sustained a lower-body injury while representing the United States at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and will be out of the Torrent lineup indefinitely. Through 14 regular season games with Seattle, the 36-year-old from Sun Valley, ID has contributed three goals and seven assists. In Milan, she won her second gold and fifth Olympic medal while setting U.S. Olympic records for all-time goals and points

  • Current league standings:

Not looking great for the Torrent, but last season the Frost dropped to 5th (of 6) before pulling off their championship victory.

  • I know we have movim chat, but has there been thought given to a chat not hosted with slrpnk in case we have an outage again?

As the admins, to my knowledge, do not have alts using their same user names, it was difficult to track them down. There ended up being two threads regarding the outage, mine got little attention, and the answers to the situation were added by me from the other thread.

I am not complaining about the outage, I opened this account after the previous large outage knowing full well the hosting situation, and that it could... and likely would happen again. I am just looking for a better way to communicate with admins, mods, and follow slrpnk users in the event of an outage.

I do not know much about hosting, but I am willing to learn to help out.
