  • Oh god it just keeps on getting worse. He’s already found someone new. His wife’s best friend. I just can’t with this kid.

  • Yes, it’s common therefore it is right!

  • No, they are killing it unless you pay and extra $30 a month and use a Microsoft account and kill local accounts.

  • Windows 10 support is ending soon so there’s no reason to have it on your steam deck. Steam will stop supporting it sooner after Microsoft does, just like steam does with Apples operating system.

  • Actual users hate AI. Shareholders love it. It’s a bubble and the business world is trying to force it everywhere they can to create a dependency.

  • He cheats, his wife is mean all the time, in front the of the kids. They married when nether was mature enough for it. Both families warned them not to but they kept playing the most dysfunctional game of house ever. It’s like watching a white trash, and possibly autistic, reality show.

  • Do ba shoobadi do, ba shoobadi do, ba shoobadi do, ba shoobadi do…

  • Does anyone remember bonsai-kitty?

  • Eventually yes

  • My idiot brother is going through a divorce right now. I reeeealy want to send this to him

  • Microsoft’s kicking third parties out of the kernel because of crowdstrike. Secure boot is a completely different thing Microsoft can’t kick people out of.

  • I’m agreeing with point 4.

  • Yes that’s…exactly my point.

  • This has serious hide-the-baby-from-the-social-worker energy.

    1. New keys have already been released and you can always just create and enroll your own damn keys. This is sensationalist nonsense.
    2. “Check my privilege” over secure boot? Calm down, Karen.
    3. I think gaming on PC is going to get interesting in the coming decade as Microsoft kicks third parties out of the kernel (thanks crowdstrike!) and more and more people just stop putting up with windows. Enterprise in the US is hooked but everyone else? Na, they are gonna drop it.

Edit: these are listed as 1,3,and 4 in my post in voyager but lemmy shows 123. Interesting.

  • I honestly see heaven as some sort of eternal HOA. I cannot imagine that being a desirable eternity. Send me to hell with all the fun brown people they hate.

  • They need to be able to buy accessory products that do more harm than good. It’s can’t be a proper alternative to windows without CCleaner support!

  • There are already computers that come with Linux right out of the box. It’s needs more than that.

You need to be able to walk into a big box store, get a Linux computer right off the shelf, and take it home. That’s what’s needed here.

Once you get people to userstabdnits a different kind of computer they would take to it fine. iPad and chromebooks sell just fine and they don’t run windows or macOS. I refuse to believe Microsoft and Apple are the only ones who can sell a computer.
