Oh so there’s actually a story to her name. She was a Manx. Not even the suggestion of a tail. I got her off my friend when she showed up on his porch one day. I recalled a pair of kittens off this friends back porch that slept in his mint plants. One had a tail, one didn’t. I was trying to socialize them so we could find them homes. They hated me. As a human, I was the devil. A devil that fed them. We suspected she was somehow related to them.
I named them Bit and Byte. And so she was named Mrs Ada Lovelace. And she was the best thing in my life those 16 years.
