I was considering doing that but wanted to build my own more capable firewall/router first and get my cloud based thing off the network. But by the time I get the thing done, VPNs will require ID, you know, “for the children.”
Is actually kind of sad. Microsoft Windows does have a really stable and performant core. It has some bad decisions made years ago that legacy compatibility holds them back on, but even so it’s amazing it works as well as it does.
But they ruin all that by piling on the BS literally nobody wants but they have decided you must have.
I hated the old model. It would dish out pleasant lies all the time, refuse to correct any faulty assumptions….it was exactly the kind of thing my boomer mother would like. It was an automated corporate yes man.
The people who lament the death of that are mentally unwell.
Where do you find the energy to just be alive in 2025? Things weren’t great for you before but now the reds are out for blood over being told to mind their own damn business. You people are going to be first in line for the next round of gas chambers if the Nazis get their way.
Going to college purely for a career is a hell of a gamble and the most likely positive outcomes are in fields where everyone fucking hates you (business majors, etc).
Go to improve yourself. Learn all you are interested in. Experience new things. For most jobs, nobody cares what your major is anyway. They care that you can focus on a long term goal and achieve it and a college degree demonstrates that.
You could also try sniffles. It’s more active than grindr is anymore and there’s los lots of guys in your situation on there.
