  • Apple did a lot of real shit. The battery thing was nothing. They batteries in those phones had defects that would cause affected phones to crash. So Apple limited the amount of power the phone could draw all at once from the batteries to prevent crashes.

    People bitched it slowed them down and forced them to buy new phones. Nobody was forcing anything.

    Apple puts a function in their phones to reduce battery wear and make the phone last longer, something objectively bad for Apple and good for the consumer.

    People bitched the battery life per day was shorter.

    Guys, there are plenty of real reasons to hate Apple. The battery thing isn’t on that list.
