Thanks! The hand model was added around the 60-70% mark if I had to estimate. Before that there wasn't any visual indication when moving the units, just a regular system cursor. I felt like there was something missing and I hope I hit the right spot with that animated hand :)
There is no campaign as of yet, only skirmish style battles. But if the idea catches on, I'd definitely put it on my list :)
It's a good practice to adhere to proper design patterns even on smaller projects. I also work solo on small projects :). It doesn't really cost you anything to work with classes, it'd even say it's easier once you get a hang of it
I'm a super fan of low poly style, so I'm drawn into that direction in all of my projects :) glad you like it too!

Yes, as long as you know what components are inside the Zombie scene, then you can export it. But the idea of being more flexible is that you shouldn't need to update the Zombie class when you add a new component to it. E.g. You want the zombie to be "Bumpable" now (for some reason :)), then you should be able to just add the Bumpable node to your Zombie scene and that's it. With your approach, you'd need to also reference and export it in the Zombie class first.
How did you reach 6k? Do you think that something in particular helped you get there this time?

Hello all, I'm happy to announce that I've just opened beta test for my first Steam game release, which will be available between 30.05 and 02.06.
This is a turn based strategy game, where you play with toy army men trying to conquer your opponent on the other side of the room. Available in single player mode against the AI, or local multiplayer, also via Steam Remote Play.

Indian-Mexican wedding gift
We're Polish living in Germany and were invited to a wedding in India by a friend of ours. The groom is Indian and the bride is Mexican, to make things more complicated. It's planned at the end of November. That's the first time going to India for us, we don't know much about the culture. We don't know what we should get them as a gift. What would be a good idea for a gift? What's traditionally gifted there?
There's supposed to be another wedding in Mexico next year, to which we'll also be invited, so in case you have any ideas for that wedding - feel free to chime in already!
