i3
very neat!
Cons
- Black levels could be better
- No HDR10+ support-
- No 3D support
...what about the fact that it costs $16k
you can't demand people to change, it has to come from within. you can only talk to them and try to change their point of view. that certainly may not work in this case. your issue is not about if your father can live without you, but if you can live without him. if the answer is yes, then spending less time with him may be better for your mental health. also, you don't need to cut ties immediately completely. you can do that gradually to see if it is the right decision for you.
Zelfde: ik was redelijk actief op lemmy in het begin, maar kreeg weinig respons, dus ben nu niet echt meer actief (maar lees wel dagelijks). Ik ben niet actief op reddit, ik lees wel sommige specifieke sureddits.
Well done! 💪

Nice job!
If you are comfortable with the command line, mbsync / isync allow you to save your mail offline with the ability to search and read it later on. You can use a cron job to fetch the email however often you want it.
If you use emacs, you can set up gnupg integration for easy encryption and decryption of files.
I would also read up on expiration of keys, and how you can export (backup) and import a key. The latter can also be useful if you want to use the same key on multiple devices.
i just mean the one schizo mentioned
i have a 2017 lg 5k monitor (same goofy software trick) that works with ubuntu x11
maybe stop with all caps
Thank you for letting us know! 😃
Hi Babblin, that is a cutie! It does seem your hamster cage is not a very healthy environment for a hamster. Hamsters need a lot of bedding so that they can burrow. Take a look at this post and let us know if you have questions: https://www.hamsterwelfare.com/cage-advice-and-evidence/ Your hamster will thank you for it 🐹♥️👪
Just tried it: I was able to connect to gpodder sync and sync my, subscriptions. Unfortunately, the data is not being parsed end I end op with a list of podcasts all titled 'Unknown podcast' with no episodes or any other data or information.
I set up nextcloud via docker on a raspberry pi and installed gpodder sync there. That is working for me.

I have also implemented it in emacs. It is awesome.
Yes I understand that, but 'pretty much' is not 'entirely', so I am looking for confirmation.

I fucked up :|
I had a bunch of personal scripts to manage my music database. Maybe 10-sh scripts, max a few hundred lines long, nothing too big. A little while ago, I wrapped them into a big emacs org file for literate programming, and to tangle them, so I could easily edit them in one place. Backed them up to at least three servers, both locally and in another building. I also have Cronopete running, (a Linux implementation of MacOS Time Machine), so everything is safe, right? Right?!. I didn't need the scripts for 3 months or so, but today I wanted to use them but couldn't find them anywhere. Not on any backup server, not on the Cronopete drive. The only thing I can think of is that I must have saved that org file on the backup server and then backed up over it (and it never got pulled by Cronopete because it does of course not look at the backup server). I will have to start rewriting those scripts from scratch. FML.
