Dem gegenüber steht ein illegales Angebot, bei dem man wirklich alles bekommt. Und zwar mit bestmöglichem Bild und Ton, ohne Werbung und als Download..."

Honestly, please tell me more about how I can commercialize this posts. This would make it easier for me to justify all I'm doing here out of interest and goodwill towards #Mastodon etc. Mainly in my freetime, if I may add... (I'm using this account, because this is the one for technical stuff and it has greater reach)
I didn't "mindlessly" tag the Lemmy community, but because I knew, that otherwise it would be very difficult to spread over there.

Isn't this directly about the #Fediverse?

Well, the ad for my employer (as an WP-link) came from you, didn't it?
This is not the first such post: I have a tool, that makes it simple to later visualize from where the reactions came.

I think it's quite interesting to compare the promise of the #Fediverse (reach so many different networks) with the reality (it's mainly #Mastodon). And this is a good way, I think. On the other hand, this posts do show, how far your content can go.

Thx. I have no article planned, but it's good to know this, if something comes up.
(🎁)What #ElonMusk Really Wants

The #Tesla and #X mogul has long dreamed of redesigning the world in his own extreme image. #Trump may be his Trojan horse.

Lemmy overtakes Mastodon!
(at least, when I treat Upvotes as Faves and count them directly in #Lemmy, as opposed to via the API from #Mastodon) Quite a lot of ifs, I know. But at least I found an aspect of the interactions with this post, that is not totally dominated by #Mastodon. 😅
See the post on Lemmy:
https://lemmy.world/post/18633925

Even at the third attempt, it's almost only #Mastodon, from where I see shares. But that again just underscores the dominance of Mastodon. (To be clear, there are others, but I don't see them here)
I think, that's it for me with trying to get a post get a substancial amount of interactions from the rest of the #Fediverse. But that still were some fun little experiments showing the diversity of the software connected in the Fediverse.
Thanks everyone for participating!

@otter
For most parts of the #Fediverse you don't need to do something special. But it helps, i f you don't include special stuff like polls.
In addition, this account is bridged via #BridgyFed to #Bluesky, where one can interact with it, too.
I plan to analyse from which software #Mastodon sees the boosts, but it seems like that will look like:

@fediverse
Favs from #lemmy and #mbin aren't shown here on #Mastodon, right? And I think, it's not customary to boost or share in this RedditAlternatives. That's seems to be, why I still not see much from the activity happening over there. 😕

@otter
What exaclty?

@vovo
I'll gladly pass that on, as it's not my call.

@ptz
It's for a custom emoji.

Third time's a charm: This post can be seen with #Mastodon, #Bluesky, #Sharkey, #Mbin, #Lemmy, #Friendica, #Hubzilla, #Hometown, #Akkoma & more.
Please share it wherever you see it in the #Fediverse

So, before beginning my 4 months of parental leave in June, I wrote an article for @heiseonline describing, why one on #Threads should activate federation with the #Fediverse. I did this in anticipation, that this option would become availabla in the EU while I'm gone.
After almost two months, it's still not here. Seems like preparing the article wasn't necessary. Will it come before christmas maybe? 🙄

Twitter keeps decreasing and is already overtaken by Mastodon (thx also to problems with our bot for #X, when it works, X brings more people).
Flipboard and #Facebook are growing again, #Bluesky and #Threads are far behind. But Threads brings already more traffic than Bluesky, although we can't autopost (every link) there.
