  • Was just talking to a friend and and mentioned similar.

Most people simply don't underground the separation of powers and responsibilities between federal and provincial govs, let alone how each function or even the difference between an MP and an MPP/MLA etc.

    Sad state of affairs.

  • I use shizuku for hidden api/shell access..the devs of that have an app called appops which, you guessed it, allow you to change any appops permission for any app. Allows denying/ignoring clipboard access, device identifiers, location, microphone, etc.

  • If they're already deporting citizens they don't need strip you of that status.

    First they came for..

    The brown citizens.

When there is nobody left to speak up for you, remember your actions when they took the others first.

Protests are good for feeling good.

Results require a more direct action.

    What happened to..

    The second Trump "assassin"?

(The one they stopped outside the golf course)

You would think news of his legal status, his background and all that would be all over the news, no?

The last mention I find is sometime in September.

Why is there little to no mention of them after the incident?

I've seen a few posts about Canadian products and companies and they leave a lot to be desired or have incorrect or old information.

    So, I went looking.

This site is updated regularly and has all your grocery needs. From coffee to tofu and everything in between.

it was just now I realized how appropriate the CEO shooters' name is.

Mangione is a playful Italian word that means “big eater” or “glutton“. It is the combination of the verb mangiare (to eat) and the suffix -one which is used to describe things that are big.

He lived up to his name and ate the rich.

An electronic traffic message board — normally the forum for messages like “right lane closed ahead” — had been reprogrammed with an ominous message.

“One less CEO,” the sign, at the corner of southbound Aurora and Dexter Way, said, “many more to go.”

    NFL Scorigami

    nflscorigami.com Scorigami

Scorigami is a concept thought up by Jon Bois. It is the art of building final scores that have never happened before in NFL history. Due to the unique nature of how points are scored in (American) Football, where it is impossible to score 1 point on its own, as well as the rarity of the 2 point saf...

Found this while trying to figure out if, like 19 in cribbage, there is an impossible score in NFL rules football.

It shows all possible score combinations and which have happened - or not.

Technically, a team can score any number (til a team can have a score of 1). But, games cannot have certain scores. A 2-2 game is possible, but has never happened. 1-(1 to 5) is impossible. But 6-1 is.

*I edited because i got the 'how to score 1 point' wrong

That Hail Mary - Washington pulls it off! Wash 18-15 Chi

    Aaron Rogers in shambles.

As a Lion's fan the hail Mary has been a topic of shame and hatred. That one, as whoever was doing the post game interview said, "nothing but god"

Lions are number 1 in the NFC as of today. (Is this real life?)

Sorry for the meandering post but today has been fun for football and Lions fans.

    How do trees know?

How does a tree (or any plant, really), know to evolve to produce a delicious fruit or a poison berry, a seed inside an impenetrable shell, or invent a type of flying machine, in order to reproduce? (Each of these examples exists in my backyard)

How do they receive feedback about their evolutionary experiments? How do they know it worked/failed. [10]

Loyalty should never demand a reward.

Loyalty should never demand reward. Loyalty itself is the reward. Else it's just prostitution by another name. (This thought inspired by golf)

    update issues

Jerboa was the first client i tried. I've tried several others. Jerboa is my lemmy app.

The only thing that bothers me is after an update (this happens using both izzy and fdroid repos) upon relaunch i get "network error". It looks like i'm still logged in but my username is gone from the sidebar. If i try to log in i get json errors popping up in red text into the ui. Not a dialogue window, but within the background graphics.

I have to manually log out, close app, and login again.

This issue has been persistent across a number of updates since i started using the app.

I use a vpn/dns/firewall but have the app excluded/bypassed, except the dns (dnscrypt/doh/tls fallback.) Dns allows everything it should. ?

    Android 13, may security updates.

Images show dns from store refresh to relaunch after update. Will pull logcat to see if it shows anything.

wild harvest - do you eat local?

Just caught this episode on PBS. They harvest local plants. What most would consider weeds.

I've had dandelion a few times before, wild mint around here is great, grapes (and grape leaves!) are everywhere.

Are there any wild plants in the area you've had? Any we should know about?
