  • He missed a day or two of streaming, which harmed his income.

  • Oh I like Dan. I forgot he came back.

  • Yeah they lost everyone that I cared about a long time ago. I have no idea who is even still there at this point.

  • I had the same reaction to that scene as you and was pretty bummed out at first. I have since come around to having similar feelings as XiaCobolt does in this thread

  • There's Andor not knowing who is, but I think there is another meaning and that is the existential question of what the fuck is he doing.

His entire life was dedicated to the order of the imperial state because he believed it cared about peace, security, and justice only for him to find out it only gaf about efficiency and profit and everything else only served to meet those goals. In the end, their order and security was nothing more than destruction and death to the people they were supposed to be providing security to.

  • Just to add to this, and to be fair to George, I don't know what it was like to make commercial movies during the cold war. Seems like they were very careful, especially since the empire was the US in George's head. They may have had good reason to be as careful with the messaging and symbolism as they were.

  • I'm on team phantom menace but I thought I was alone on that one. There are actually things I can enjoy watching in phantom menace. Every scene in rots makes me cringe so bad

    More Dukatposting

I am deeply apologetic for posting something that came from 4chan. I am trying to do better.

    fair share?

  • Take the inverse of that and you're getting closer to what actually needs to happen.

  • Kind of shocked their were consequences for this tbh. I just assumed being aligned with nazis was the norm for western powers now.

  • The Obama presidency and how all flavors of western media acted like it was taking the US down a radical leftist path.

  • That's what everyone at the top has been trying to do for years now because misery is an essential part of this system.

  • I'm sure you weren't one of the people celebrating whenever someone would post a video of that happening to a Russian on Reddit.

  • "They'll die because Putin=hitler. I am the great history understander of our time. Just don't ask me about anything that happened between 2013 and 2022."
