Feddit ist da ein bisschen die Ausnahme da EA wirklich sehr ähnlich zu reddit funktioniert, bei Mastodon ist das jedoch ein ganz andere Sache.

Wer von Twitter auf Bluesky umsteigt hat fast keine Hürden, alles funktioniert wie gewohnt.

Wer aber versucht Mastodon zu nutzen, ohne jemals eine vergleichbare Plattform genutzt zu haben oder ein tutorial angeschaut hat, der kriegt Frust. Mittlerweile geht es ein bisschen besser, aber als Bluesky aufkam und Mastadon noch als Konkurrenz angesehen werden konnte, war es ne Katastrophe.

Mastodon ist für den Durchschnittsnutzer der keinen Müh lernen will ungeeignet. Und darum gehts ja, die breite Masse ist nicht willig sich durch irgendwas durchzufitzen. Dadurch hat Mastodon von Anfang an verloren, zumindest im Rennen ein bekannter Name zu werden. Es ist keine schlechte Plattform, nur als Xitter-alternative ungeeignet für die normalen Nutzer.

Wäre interessant zu wissen welcher Pulssensor eingebaut ist. Auf der Seite ist nur die Klasse verzeichnet. Das sagt jedoch nichts über die Qualität aus. Ich fürchte da wird kein Top Sensor drin sein, und wenn nur 60-80% aller Pulsmesspunkte akkurat sind wie bei der typischen Chinauhr, hat das Teil als Plusmessgerät kaum nutzen.

The problem with nightshade or similar tools is, that if you leave the changes it makes at too weak a setting, then it can be pretty easily removed. For example GAN upscalers that pre date modern "AI", were pretty much built to remove noise or foreign patterns. And if you make the changes strong enough that they can't be removed by these models (because so much information was lost), then the image looks like shit. Yea, I have been lucky to get an appartement near my place of work, only 5 min by tram. And I cant imagine having to spend in total 1-2 hours driving to and from work every day. It feels like such an incredible waste of time, when the only thing you can do is listen to music/radio/podcasts. I want to read, play my steam deck or just work on my laptop.I dont want to fight with traffic and havong to concentrate on not killing myself with the tons of metal with which Im urgently rushing around with.
