  • I agree with this, but that doesn't convince people to actually turn out and vote.

A politician needs to be able to generate enthusiasm to get people to vote

  • They're on the ballot, that's not secret information, you literally just have to google it

  • It's the job of a politician to generate that enthusiasm.

  • Graphene only supports pixels currently.

They have hardware encryption tech other phones don't have that graphene uses

  • Their hardware's usually 'fine' not great, but with decent screens and battery life.

  • True, but I have no issue preventing commercial use. I view that as just as good if not better than traditional open source.

  • True, but a lot of Linux help and guides are based around normal distros where they won't work

  • Bazzite's excellent, just be aware going in that it's an immutible distro and some stuff may be different than you're used to.

  • Nothing, though instances outside the US would have less reason to.

Only benefit is that it's fragmented so there's fewer people any individual instance can give information on.

  • This didn't change after china lost control of it, there've always been a bunch of stories about how it's bad for you

  • Yeah, the thing that bothers me about GNOME isn't the design, that's not for me but whatever, it's the attitude the project takes to collaboration and refusing to compromise on anything that would be useful for literally every other desktop in stuff like Wayland protocols

  • Utah is, salt lake is the one spot of relative normalcy

  • Yes, but raw and pasteurized milk produce different flavors and textures. As long as it's aged properly, it's fine.

Literally all I'm suggesting is nuance in policy instead of a blanket ban. Allow people to get a license or something

  • Home cheesemaking is way more common of a hobby than you're making it out to be.

All pointing this out is saying is that the solution needs a little bit of nuance.

  • Or "your claim 8s unlikely and would have been the reason given by Xcel if true"

  • Heroic games launcher basically makes gog stuff click and play but even that isn't enough for me to really use it over steam.

What I need is a good launcher that makes the process of using different stores seamless, that works well on all my devices (heroic's controller support is infuriating to use and doesn't support steam)

Maybe when playnite finally gets ported to Linux

  • Ewwwwwwww

  • My understanding is they're sending a request to your device that then decrypts and uploads messages, not storing the keys outside your device.

  • Searching for your car model + 'disable modem', 'remove cellular', 'physically remove 5g', etc. Will often come up with guides for specific vehicles.

In my car, it's just a separate board you can just unplug.
