  • No allergies. Im allergic to dairy, eggs and most nuts. I'm not lactose intolerant, which I wish I had, because then I could be in the bathroom for a few hours instead of a hospital for a few days. So many things have milk in them, and the few things that don't put eggs in them too. I can't eat out.

  • I needed to come up with a unique name for a domain that was somewhat computer-related, so I started with "Control-Alt-Delete", took away "trol" and "delete" to end up with "Con-Alt", then changed the C to a K. I just consider it as a word in itself after a few years.

    Why do Lemmy instances have such obscure TLDs?

    Whenever I come across a new lemmy instance, it most likely has some sort of obscure TLD (.world, .ml, .ee, .me, .social just to name a few). Why aren't there more with more common TLDs?
