Personally I just use a cheap waterproof bag that lets me touch the screen through it. Also floats just in case lol.
Only fair after last week's final destination-esque snipe lol.
I'm not sure it accounts for everything, but people tend to embrace conservatism (and yes, eventually Authoritarianism) due to fear. I was very young during the HIV/AIDS scare, but the fear was rampant and very real.
Magic Johnson making his diagnosis public and Princess Diana touching someone with AIDS was international headline news.
People are dumb and fear makes us less empathetic and even dumber.
Maybe a silly question, why USB 3.2?
We designed The Fairphone (Gen. 6) to last as long as possible, making it robust and modular to enable easy repairs, customization, and upgrades.
We want to empower users to take ownership of their products by offering them easy options for maintenance and repairs. How long it lasts will also depend on the user and on how they treat their phone. But to make it as easy as possible, we have created an ecosystem that supports long-lasting use, first-hand or second-hand. We offer:
- Reasonably priced spare parts and repair tutorials
- Regular software platform updates (latest Android software) and security updates 5-year warranty (to be activated via fairphone.com/warranty)
- Access to source code and open source development encouraged Active reminders to perform regular maintenance, making sure the phone remains in good state for as long as possible
- Financial rewards via the “Keep Club” loyalty program for every time a repair is performed and for every year a phone is kept in use
What are the plans for Android and security updates with The Fairphone (Gen. 6)?
We are planning to provide at least Android 16 to Android 22, so seven years of Android upgrades from launch and one extra year of security updates only, so eight years of software support in total!

This is correct for a given transaction, but there's no consensus needed to open a Bitcoin wallet. That is usually just a private key in an encrypted envelope.
Alabama's state slogan is "Thank God for Mississippi", because they can at least point to one place where things are worse.
Seems like a stand up guy with a ton of qualifications. Hopefully enough of the members see him as an agreeable alternative to MBS. All the problems he mentions are very real and very visible, and unfortunately much bigger than he carefully implies. The consolidation of power and authority and extreme lack of accountability is appalling.
Hell, just for the regulations of 2026 debacle (giving teams basically just 1 season of development is so horrible considering the huge swath of changes) MBS obviously needs to go, and likely, hopefully, the member orgs are upset.
And more pointedly, all the recent morality police bullshit and the horrific sexism, particularly demonstrated in his culling of female leadership roles and around the extremely negligent FIA disinterest in F1 Academy, which is nearly entirely run by Susie Wolff and like 3 sponsors with basically no budget or marketing support from FIA.

It's a real parameter.
Came here to say exactly this. Been running it for years with zero issues, buttery smooth and thoroughly integrated.
Audio mixing, Photoshop, Blender, CAD, etc.
Lots of creative applications.
FWIW, Ploopy is a massive force in the open source hardware game. Mice, trackballs (their specialty), headphones, and lots of other items.
The Polynesian people had many ways of detecting land far beyond the horizon using ocean currents, temperatures, weather patterns, animal movements, and others which they used to island hop all the way through the Pacific Islands.
I have little doubt it was a well informed theory before they got into their vessels.
So our containers have a controller which has a state machine which has an orchestrator which has a toolkit?
Check the plastic retaining ring inside that holds the lower burr in place. Mine broke, but they're cheap and easy to replace.

Are ya p-hacking, son?
I was so happy when rumors were circulating about Susie Wolff tossing her hat in the ring, but she's stated she's not going to try this time.
Not sure who else could unite people, help progress the sport, and survive politically, but I agree, MBS needs to go, he's been a disaster.
I bought cheap tri-ply stainless steel set and a couple carbon steel pans from
https://www.webstaurantstore.com/
For less than $300 for the whole set.
If it's good enough for a professional kitchen it's more than enough for the rest of us.
Edit: This was 4 years ago and everything is still in great shape and is used constantly. The stainless is as good as any tri-ply. Vigor stainless steel and Vollrath carbon steel. Can't go wrong at the price really.
Mostly I like it because of how distinct each character is. It's easy and quick to understand large outputs of data, and it's pleasant to look at as well.
