He probably thinks he's being edgy or hilarious without understanding that there are social consequences for those things that he does not have the ability to comprehend in the moment. Even scarier, actually, if you look into the history of the man the condition was named for (Hans Asperger) and some of the things he was into... you know, like generic purity and being a Nazi.
