BitCraft - build cities and change the landscape in this new cross-platform community sandbox MMORPG

Congratulations!
Thanks!
I would love to be able to do this. I always jump right to problemsolving mode. At best I realize my mistake halfway throgh.
What would be a good EU alternative?

And he may not have found what he needed. Rescuers bracing for another go for sure
Secret World, though janky, was quite good and really unique. Before they fucked it up with the relaunch that is.
I think what they are getting at is that Meta does this and they find it likely Microsoft might be doing something similar.
This. Mu father and grandfather in law are mathematitians. I never liked or enjoyed math but they make it ao damn interesting when talking about it. It's a real shame I never had a teacher with such passion and talent for it.
The point is the legal benefits and publicly declaring your love and commitment, if you care about that.
You can spend as little as you want, if you only care about the legal status. But since you are probably asking about the usual big wedding - it's really just throwing a party to celebrate the act. It's not mandatory. Invite people you want to party with and celebrate life in a way you want.
What can suck about it is the peer pressure from parents and other people to do it the way they want, to do it "properly".
Hopefuly not as burned out as Anakin.
HeHeHe
Definite improvement then
He was probably the best pope in a while. Definitely more open and tolerant than normal.
It's not much to beat the normal here, but it was a step in the right direction if nothing else. Not enough of course, but what could we really expect?
It worked for me via Heroic, not much tinkering to do though the installation process is a bit rough around the edges, just took me a bit to figure out how to select installation folder.
Only issue I faced is at one point it started to act as if it was not installed, but happened also to another game I had installed on Heroic, so the issue wasn't Soulframe related.
I'd assume this is one of those decisions that has to be agreed on by everyone else - and they always had an ally who would block it. Was Poland, now Slovakia
Seems like that's where we are headed
I'd take the smaller dreams at this point.
There is a "open by default" setting on android which lets you select which links you want to open in the app by default
The hero we don't deserve
Any book with contemporary setting will eventually be a book with historical setting
Worth it to return?
Hey all, I was wondering what do y'all think about the game after the recent relaunch. What is the state of things? Is it worth returning and if so, does it make sense to start anew on new servers, or just continue with the old character?
I don't have the Angry Earth expac so mainly wondering if it is worth the additional buy in price.
The future of BLUE PROTOCOL
I didn't follow the game super closely but it looked nice. Shame we will never get to try it at least.
Anybody has experience with GW2 on Linux?
So I finally bit the bullet, installed a second SSD and put Linux on it to test the waters. Tested out GW2 as a non steam game via Wine and while it runs, it runs very poorly with constant frame drops. Did anyone else try? How was your experience?
I have Nvidia GPU which I gather might be the most likely culprit but was interested in what your experience might've been.

How to ease up the return to GW2
I thought I'd try GW2 after years of not playing (last I played was PoE era, bounced off fully before Icebrood saga) and finally managed to get into it!
I used to live and breath this game and while I was not what you'd call "hardcore" player, I knew about everything going on. Now I'm totally in the black which is weird. I try not to get it to me, I just play through the Icebrood saga story now and try my best not to open inventory and achievement tabs etc to not get discouraged. GW2 was always a bit convoluted, but with so much added in the meantime, it's much.
How do you deal with this? What would be your recommendations for me to "ease into it"? What should I engage after getting my groove back in the story? How to dip my toes slowly into buildcrafting? What new systems should I check out?
Bonus question: would you expect the xpacs to go on sale anytime soon? Next one should be around the corner by now, no?

I know many people were waiying for this so thought I'd share.
I don't play Albion much, fresh start might be interesting but not keen on regrinding stuff... How about you?
Anyone has the famous reddit story with the immortal snail?
There was this legendary comment on reddit to a thread asking people what would their plan be if they were immortal and got milion dollars, but there was a superintelligent immortal snail also with milion dollars who would want to kill them. I was trying to find it but as far as I can tell OP removed it. Does anyone here have it and could post it here by any chance?

Any alternatives to Google Photos?
I'm starting my degoogling journey (mostly looking into the various options at hand) and I was wondering what hood alternatives to Goohle Photos is there? I'm specifically wondering about a service that would double both as a cloud storage and a gallery with a timeline and such. But currently it's only cloud storage backup (or Instagtam-likes, which is bot something I want) as far as I can tell?
Wayfinder Early Access Showcase
Anybody else unreasonably excited for this one?
Looks like a really fun MMO-lite with potential and plans to lean more heavily into MMO elements. Pretty much looks like fantasy Warframe with cream on top. Monetization looks fair as it is published by the same guys that did Warframe and I think they have a good reputation for how they do their monetization.
No wipe after EA ends so this is pretty much early launch, though it will eventually be F2P after official launch.
Actual showcase starts at around 00:30 mark.

Didn't watch it all yet, but looks like Fantasy Sims MMO. Thoughts? Anybody excited? Doesn't seem like my cup of tea, butlooks interesting enough for me to at least try it.
How safe is open source software? What are the general benefits?
So with open source software more on my mind lately I was wondering - while I get the benefits of transparency and such, how safe is it? If the source code is available to all, isn't it easier to breach for people (like the recent cookies hack)? If I'd have an open source password manager, would it be easier for people to get my passwords somehow than if I use something not open source? Do I just not understand how software works in general?
And what are other benefits that may be not so obvious to someone not so knowledgable about this?
Edit: thank you all for really insightful answers! Among other things I also learned just how much I don't know :)
Issue with subscriptions
I'm having some issues with subscription list view when it wouldn't load for me at all moat of the time, I got "null check operator used on null check value" message with a reload option that doesn't do anything? Anybody else having this issue? Any way to fix? I have two accounts logged in if that makes any difference.
