I think it’s partially due to the relatively small population and quantity of posts. Anecdotally, I never browsed r/all, but that’s my primary mode on Lemmy. I usually don’t notice the community a post belongs to unless someone brings it up.
Maybe that will change with time.
Not a lawyer, but the usual explanation is that these contracts are “at will” and the contract includes language indicating it can be terminated by either party for any reason at any time.
Again, not a lawyer and I agree this is terrible behavior. However, this is why some people say you should never give notice until you’ve literally started your new job.

It kind of existed when Google included a link to every site’s cached content, but they removed that years ago.
“Blast” in an article title is a pretty good indicator that it’s just bait for people who are already outraged about something.

Yeah I’ve had that happen, too.
Still my first method because it works most of the time.
Also just press random keys that aren’t in the list of options it gives you.
As much as I’d love the Chiefs to crash and burn, I really don’t see it happening.
They play down to competition in the regular season and inevitably find that extra gear in the playoffs.

Heck, I’ll let you not use windows for $49.

Literally never heard this phrase before, but it seems very similar to “different strokes for different folks.”
It doesn’t make any sense to me but I kind of love it.
