I know you're right, but I actually think this one is an evolutionary benefit, just not ours. The cuteness traits won the evolutionary race because cuteness causes this feeling in humans that will make them more likely to get taken in by us.

Mine was at 94% so I also felt like not voting. I did anyway and the Cons still won but it was actually a much closer result than what the polls had made it out to be. First time in a long time we haven't been orange though so that really sucks.

There was a restaurant in my old town that repeatedly opened under different names and in different areas of town. You knew it was the same owners because they had this signature "pink rice" and always had the same menu. Word is they kept getting shut down for not meeting health standards but would just reopen under a different name and location. They've finally settled on one place and have been there for probably 5 years now, so they must've got their lives sorted. Decent sushi though and they have deep fried ice cream which is top notch.
To be fair, he might not have been hiding from anyone specifically, it could've just been they had escaped from a war zone and didn't want to talk about it.

Hey I have a question - I heard that there was a sort of protest in your riding to protest FPTP and so a whole whackload of independents had registered (close to 90?). Did that cause a lot of confusion at the ballot? Were the physical ballots like massive?
Just curious, as I thought it was a really great (and funny) way to protest tbh, but wondering how much of a headache it caused for the typical voter.
