What's one thing you're looking forward to this week?

  • Took today off work and am catching up on some chores and laundry 🧺

  • I'm trying this today. It has been so hard to stop drinking. I can go a few days but then fall back nearly every weekend. I just don't want to feel like it is so needed anymore.

    Like I know about Lemmy (replacement for reddit), Loops (replacement for ticktock/reels), and pixelfed (replacement for insta). Oh and I switched from Spotify to tidal. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Is there a YouTube replacement? Thats really the next big media channel I use daily..

  • I feel like we have come to a point in time where the Internet in general is becoming more separated like this in general. I enjoy Lemmy because I get a lot of the other perspectives in my day to day work life, and I like coming to this place to read and engage with people who share my views and ideas on topics. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe that is pretty close to an echo chamber, but it is what I am seeking after spending every work day with conservatives.

  • Seconded for Helldivers 2! Play it with the in game music off and with the halo music instead. Wayyy more epic

    Tiny Glade - little diorama building game. I like playing this one when I don't have enough time for a full mission or quest in whatever game I'm playing, or I'm waiting for my buddies to get online.

    Potion Craft: Alchemy Simulator - another cute little game. The NPCs make this one fun. You get visitors from other games coming to your shop to stock up on potions. Devs just did a big 2.0 update, and added more challenges and content. I played on super easy explorer mode and 100%ed the achievements in 52 in game days. I highly recommend this game! Another great one to play during in-between and waiting times, but also very easy to get sucked into 🧪
