  • For as far as i remember i always knew that thoses things didn't existed, so i would go to my mother with my tooth and ask for the money directly

  • Thanks, everything that i found would just send me to a dead link in the void wiki

  • Thanks for the help, but i managed to make it work, i didn't added the free multilib repo so i couldn't download some of the 32bit libraries that i needed

  • I'm a simple person, i see catppuccin i upvote, and yes it looks cool

  • Yes i did installed both

As for dbus it works fine, only headache is that flatpak apps can't find it, i even got in flatseal and tried thinckering around for a time and nothing, and i know is not exclusive to steam flatpak because heroic games also have the same problem

[Edit] Found the problem, i didn't added the free multilib repo, now i just gotta solve the problem with flatpak

  • Cool, i think i just got used to scroll for my apps, i normally know where they are so is a seamless experiance for me, but i like options like those, i just don't put anything on my dock because i like to have a clean home screen, both on my phone and on my desktop

    Can't install 32bit libraries

So i'm new to void and have been trying to install steam, the flatpak was giving me some headaches with dbus so i added the non free repos and installed steam, but when i try to install the 32bit libraries like libgcc-32 xbps say they don't exist and everything to fix points me to 2 links from the void wiki that have been long dead

    [EDIT]

I've managed to install by adding the free multilib repo

    sudo xbps-install -Sy void-repo-multilib

  • Well i do have one, i just like to have it empty

    We are not the same

  • In a normal desktop the program or the desktop chooses a size for the window and pops it somewhere on the screen, but i'm using for my desktop something called a tilling window manager(sway in this case), which takes the program and tries to use as much of the screen as possible (or as i allow it), then when another program wants to open it resizes everything to give every program a nice amount of space without overlaping.

If you wanna know more i recommend searching on youtube "desktop enviroment vs window manager" and you should find a couple of videos explaining not just how i place the windows like that but also how it differs from what you might be using

  • That 2 seconds from the direct said it was this year, but i still think it was a dream all along

  • Honestly DMC is not the kind of game made to 100%, is more of a game to quick finish it to get the hang of the mechanics and then replay to get thoses SSS rankings and try to build new combos and playstyles, except DMC2, but we don't talk about DMC2

(Also no shame in just playing once and then going to the next game, everyone can play any game how they want)

  • rule

  • I don't mind it either and do have both, but sometimes i get interference when i'm close to people (which is when i wanna to use the earphones) and i complain about the lack of the port not because bluetooth is shit, but because is importante to have the option

  • That works, i've subbed anyway, gonna try out some wayland WMs and post there some ricing later

  • I've started a neovim customizations using kickstarter.nvim, is fine to share it there once i finish it or should i keep it more linux related?

  • My setup is kind of similar to yours right now, i had to buy a laptop and now when im home i have a big monitor in front of me mounted on the wall and the laptop stays on the left side kind of bellow the main monitor

  • I readed as the pilar man song from jojo

  • Thanks, but the drm has worked for me just like normal firefox does, i've been using it to watch max and amazon prime since i've made the switch, something that i couldn't get to work on qutebrowser for example

  • You got me curious about the issues that you may have with zen, is true that i haven't use it for that long of a time but so far so good, so i would love to know what i may run into in the future

  • I'm loving zen browser so far, made the switch about a month ago, is firefox but with a actually great ui, a feel extra features and good customization

what font do you use in your code editor/IDE?

I'm looking for a good on the eyes font that suport a feel special characters like ç, ã and í. It also need to have a easy difference between 0/O and I/l. Sorry if this is not the best place to ask this.

Edit: thank you everyone for the answers, i will use fira code on my terminal and intel one mono on my text editor.
