Reading them back to back?
A book about us?
2 people reading it in same week? Is it a recent release? or recently in news? or just a coincidence?
I read The Book Thief quite a while ago, and don't remember a single thing from it now. Maybe it's time to revisit the book.
Downloaded the epub. Will read first few chapters and see how I like it.
I am not into fanfic much, but this looks interesting.
Lightbringer has 2 trilogies? Didn't it have only 5 books? I gave up in middle of the third book, so maybe missed it.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at these.
Cool. Thanks for the info!
That sounds interesting. Thaks for the info!
Ahan, thanks for the info.
Nice. I should read it sometimes too. It has been on my backlog for so long.
Heh, didn't know that. Good thing I didn't force myself to eat those 😀 White Bread FTW!
I dropped Worm somewhere in the middle, a long time ago. Wanted to start it again, but couldn't find any ebook option, and don't want to start such a long novel on web again.
Ah, that can be a bit annoying. Will keep it for when I have lots of free time.
How are you liking it so far?
I love the series. Though I am only at Changes. Just finished it last month or so. Looking forward to where things go from here.
He just released the second book recently after so many years, and while I haven't read it myself, haven't heard many great things about it.

Finished Amulet series by Kazu Kibushi.
Love the story and art-style. Highly recommended for fantasy fans, specially younger audience.
Read Changes by Jim Butcher, book 12 of The Dresden Files.
I was expecting some "changes" due to the name and how people talk about the book, but wow, they changed everything. From the first line of the book to the last, it was fully captivating.
Wanted to start the next book right away, but held myself back.
Read Aftermath, the novella after Changes, from Side Jobs , short-story collection in Dresden Files world. This was the last story in the book, so I have officially finished Side Jobs too.
Many side stories are from point of view of different characters, and this was also from another character's point of view. So it was interesting to see how they v

Finished Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson. Book 2 of second era of Mistborn.
It was interesting where the story is going. Character development and the world building is interesting. Not a big fan of how the book ended, but I guess this is how it had to be. Looking forward to the next book.
Finished Gangsta Granny by David Williams.
My kid got it from school library, and wanted me to read it too. It's mainly about how kids find old people boring and old people weren't always old, they lived a life before reaching this age. A fun middle-grade novel. Highly recommended (for kids).
Also read it's sequel Gangsta Granny Strikes Again
The first half felt a bit childish to me (that's not a negative, it is a children's book), but enjoyed the latter half, but mentioning any of that will be a spoiler for the first book. If you read t

Still reading Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson. Book 2 of second era of Mistborn.
Just a few pages remaining now, would've finished it, but kid got a book from his school library, and wanted me to read it too, so reading Gangsta Granny by David Williams.

I have been a bit busy, and with not too much motivation to do much, so am still at the same place as last week.
Still reading Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson. Book 2 of second era of Mistborn.
I did read a bit more of it though, and it was interesting to see the antagonist and some of the other characters who appeared.

Have been pretty busy last couple of weeks, so still reading Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson. Book 2 of second era of Mistborn.
Also started Wandering Inn, have read a few chapters, and while interesting, I am not a big fan of the main character. Maybe I have read too many (web) novels that I can't understand when people don't act like typical isekai protagonist, but still...
The world building is interesting, want to know more about what's happening. Will probably try to read at least the first volume and then decide whether I want to continue or not.

Read Turn Coat, book 11 of the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher.
Another bad people/creatures/whatever doing bad stuff with magic, while Dresden stops them, while getting completely beat up book. I don't mean that as a bad thing though. That's why I read the books!
This had some interesting world-building stuff, with some new stuff in over-arching story. Also read the short story that takes place after the book (in the anthology Side Jobs), an interesting look at the relationship between Harry and Murphy.
Currently reading Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson. Book 2 of second era of Mistborn. Just started it, so don't have much to say about it yet.

My End of Year Process - Bullet Journal
Growing up in Japan, New Year’s was a BIG DEAL. I am all grown up now, and no one hands me Otoshidama on New Year’s Day. But because I’m all grown up now, I can grant myself the feeling of possibilities and opportunities through the End-of-Year/New Year ritual.
New Year, New Journal! What are you changing or keeping in your journal?
It's end of another year. And like always, new year means new journal! So, how are you changing your journal?
My journal is pretty stable and very minimal. Other than a monthly budget spread, it's pretty much the official method without any significant changes.

2023 Reflection “The best way to hear god laugh is to announce your plans.” Overview Though I’ve been doing them for years, this is the first time I’ve decided to publicly share my yearly reflection, which is part of my Yearly Ritual. Welcome to New Year! How are you changing your journal this year?
Happy New Year!
New year means new journal! So, how are you changing your journal?
I am keeping it the same. I tried adding charts for what I am reading and playing in 2023, but I removed it in a few months. Rest of my journal is exactly how I like it, so not going to change anything unless I come across something interesting that I like to try.
