I don’t think it’s just the visual for people. They go on these epic quests and gain emotional attachments to their party members. It’s basically interactive erotica with dragons and shit.

I do think less dialogue can work great for setting an interesting atmospheric tone. Some of my favorite films have little to no dialogue. But yeah it is weird how many Star Wars shows follow this template. Some of them were very bad too. Interesting that Andor didn’t make this list.
