Ann Arbor Michigander
The best they can do is probably close their Canadian/Mexican plants if the losses are too great, which would increase unemployment in those areas for not only the automotive factories, but also the ones for the automotive suppliers. Even if a Chinese company swoops in to buy the factories, it'd take time to set things up.
They did that when the TPP was scraped too.

I figured it was related to the hardware architecture, but I'm curious if this is for security reasons (potential exploits that the OS can't resolve) and/or just a support bandwidth concerns managing 2 OS code bases (on top of the obvious revenue from new licenses).
If the hardware security isn't the issue, then switching to Linux is a good money saving choice for those that are tech savvy.
Gotta take mandatory breaks at least every 4 hours.
I mean at a subconscious level, they have feelings for each other -- a good chunk of the show is them dancing around that concept. That being said, all they both know is that it's a marriage of convenience -- neither knows the full identity of the other.
Yor constantly worries she won't measure up to Loid's needs, and that's a risk to government scrutiny by the secret police. Loid worries his relationship with Yor doesn't look airtight, and could compromise Operation Strix. Everything they do publicly to prove their relationship is legit is an act in which any enjoyment is a secondary benefit (like the scene above).
But...Loid and Yor are faking it to avoid scrutiny.
Definitely the best of the bunch.
Look for shaving soaps. They're better for your skin and last a long time!
